Tang Hao initially watched Tang San from the shadows after his departure from Holy Soul Village. He intervened when Zhao Wuji fought Tang San and later confirmed that he had secretly protected his son throughout his time at Shrek Academy. 48 195

He first confronted Du Cheng in the Back Mountain Forest, identifying himself as the Clear Sky Douluo and Tang San's father. Tang Hao demanded that Du Cheng lose to Tang San and surrender the girls around him; when Du Cheng refused, Tang Hao attempted to cripple him with the Clear Sky Hammer. A hidden Limit Douluo intervened and neutralized the attack. 23 24

After appearing openly before Tang San in the Star Dou Great Forest, Tang Hao revealed his status as a Titled Douluo. He encouraged Tang San to attach rings to his second martial soul despite the potential cost to his future, arguing that an “invincible heart” was more important than preserving potential. 195 196
