• Salas tried to recruit Canghui Academy, but Du Cheng advised its captain to join the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect, and Qing Xuan killed Hu Yanzhen after he threatened Du Cheng.
• Xue Ye rewarded the advancing teams and promised imperial support for successful academies, while Du Cheng warned Xue Qinghe that Spirit Hall might overthrow the nobles.
