Background / History

Xiao Yi Xian grew up as an orphan and named herself Li Xian’er. She built a life in Qingshan Town as a specially hired physician at the Ten Thousand Medicine House, where she had treated more than half the town’s mercenaries. Her original ambition was to become an alchemist, but her unsuitable Dou Qi attribute led her to practice medicine instead 124 127 128.

Before joining Xiao Ming, she discovered a hidden cliffside cave in the Magical Beast Mountain Range and maintained a separate refuge in a secluded valley. The valley contained a thatched shelter, spare clothing, dense natural energy, and numerous medicinal herbs 125 128.

Xiao Ming first approached her through a nighttime intrusion, incapacitating her guards and overcoming her medicinal-powder ambush. She reluctantly agreed to guide him to the cave in exchange for a Medical Treasure Codex. There, she obtained the Seven-Colored Poison Classic and learned that she possessed the Woeful Poison Body 124 125 127.

The revelation threatened both her livelihood and her future: working with medicinal ingredients could expose her to enough poison to awaken the constitution. Xiao Ming offered two methods of controlling it and demonstrated his Heavenly Flames as proof that his assistance was credible.
