A faint smile crept onto his face. Though he didn't know the specifics of Shimura Danzō's plan, he could guess the gist of it. Still, this wasn't something he had done—it was Danzō acting on his own. He could simply claim ignorance.

"Itachi is a good kid."

Hiruzen Sarutobi thought to himself.

"Something terrible has happened, Lord Hokage!"

Just then, an Anbu ninja burst in, shouting urgently.

"What's going on?"

Hiruzen Sarutobi frowned as a sense of dread welled up in his heart.

"Hahaha, come on, come on, hahaha!!!"

Mad laughter echoed endlessly. The figure, like a demon god, launched attack after attack. Each casual strike was a terrifying blow that these ninjas could not withstand. All the Konoha ninjas who came to reinforce were effortlessly killed by Uchiha Yue.

It was getting colder and colder.

After killing these ninjas and absorbing the energy within their bodies, his figure grew taller and began to blur. The environment around him turned increasingly frigid. Just approaching him made one feel their own body heat and Chakra draining away uncontrollably.

"Kuso, what kind of monster is this?!"

In the distance, some Konoha ninjas stared fixedly at the increasingly indistinct figure.

Uchiha Yue looked down at the Konoha below, his laughter ceasing. Then, his gaze locked onto those distant ninjas. He raised his hand, and countless chains burst from his body, surging toward them.

The staff slammed directly into the semi-transparent palm formed of energy. A powerful force struck his body, causing him to slide half a step across the ground before stopping. On the other end, Hiruzen Sarutobi himself was sent flying backward.

"Susanoo!"

Hiruzen Sarutobi stared grimly at the enormous figure in the distance. On his way here, he had already learned what had happened.

It was simple. Shimura Danzō had orchestrated the destruction of the Uchiha Clan. Now, the Uchiha Clan was nearly wiped out, but for some reason, a massive upheaval had occurred. He guessed that someone from the Uchiha Clan had awakened the Mangekyo Sharingan and, in a fit of rage, killed Shimura Danzō and Uchiha Itachi.

"Danzō, Itachi, you've stirred up a huge mess!"

Hiruzen Sarutobi said. The being before him was no ordinary Uchiha—it was a true monster. It could withstand all kinds of ninjutsu attacks and possessed immense strength. Any ordinary ninja who touched it would die instantly.

So many had died, and yet, so far, it showed no signs of weakening. Instead, it grew stronger and larger. What in the world was this thing?

"Not good! Old friend, this thing is absorbing my Chakra! Aaah!!!"

Just then, a face appeared on the Ruyi Staff in Hiruzen Sarutobi's hand. The staff, firmly gripped by Uchiha Yue, began to shrink, trying to pull free from his grasp.

"Oh? Where do you think you're going?"

Uchiha Yue tilted his head. He tightened his grip on the staff, holding the part of it fast. As the Chakra in that section was absorbed, Enma's indestructible body weakened, and excruciating pain flooded his mind.

Enma howled in agony. The staff shrank rapidly, contracting wildly until it finally broke free from Uchiha Yue's grasp.

"Hiruzen Sarutobi... hahaha, you've finally shown up. Now it's time for you to die!"

Uchiha Yue grinned at Hiruzen Sarutobi in the distance. He raised his hand, and deep crimson flames appeared in his palm, quickly forming a vortex-like fireball.

As he continuously absorbed energy, Uchiha Yue found his control over Chakra and his cognitive abilities skyrocketing. Combined with the ninjutsu he had copied with his Mangekyo Sharingan while those Konoha ninjas attacked him, he now knew how to release jutsu.

A fireball, massive as a meteor, hurtled toward Hiruzen Sarutobi.

"Old friend, are you alright?"

Hiruzen Sarutobi looked at the Ruyi Staff in his hand and asked.

"I'm fine. Be careful—this thing is bizarre. It can directly absorb someone's Chakra!"

Enma's voice rang out from the staff.

The next moment, Hiruzen Sarutobi leaped up. He thrust the Ruyi Staff into the ground, and it extended rapidly, launching him into the air. Then, flipping backward midair, he swung the staff in an arc. With a thunderous boom, it struck Uchiha Yue's shoulder.

Yet, nothing happened. It didn't even break through his defense.

"How pathetic. Is this all the power you have?"

Uchiha Yue raised his hand, reaching for the Ruyi Staff pressing on his shoulder. The moment he moved, the staff shrank rapidly, trying to repeat its earlier escape.

But just as the staff pulled away, countless chains burst from Uchiha Yue's shoulder, surging into the Ruyi Staff.

"Aaah!"

A pained scream erupted from the staff. The chains clung like leeches, frantically sucking the Chakra from Enma's body. As his Chakra vanished, his transformation unraveled. He shifted from a staff back into a monkey and fell from Hiruzen Sarutobi's grasp.

"Old friend! No!"

Seeing this, Hiruzen Sarutobi reacted, but it was too late. Countless chains exploded from Enma's body, and in the blink of an eye, he was reduced to a dried corpse.

"Old friend, don't touch that monster... ah!"

Enma's final wail echoed in Hiruzen Sarutobi's ears. Just like that, the summoning beast that had accompanied Hiruzen Sarutobi his entire life died without even having time to dissolve their summoning contract.

Enma's strength was not weak—the indestructible diamond body, overwhelming power, and transformation ability were enough to place it at the pinnacle of summoning beasts. Unfortunately, all of this required Chakra to sustain, and it happened to run into the evil Susanoo, which specialized in devouring energy and possessed explosively high intensity. Enma's withered corpse fell to the ground. Uchiha Yue looked at Hiruzen Sarutobi.

"Protect the Hokage-sama!"

Just then, a new wave of ninja arrived and launched an attack on Uchiha Yue.
