Background / History

Spider Robots originated as an offensive development of Chen Feng’s Micro Robots. The Micro Robots had been built as football-sized, spider-like production assistants with numerous articulated limbs capable of grasping materials under artificial-intelligence control. Chen Feng later rebuilt their framework into a more flexible and combat-capable offensive model. 53 114

The resulting machine was designated the Spider Legion Robot because Chen Feng intended to deploy it in numbers. Its initial deployment force included five Spider Legion Robots alongside a larger number of Micro Robots during Qiu Lin Group’s assault on Chen Feng’s property. 114 115

By the time Chen Feng reached Afeiken, he had produced twenty Spider Robots and fifty Sky Eye Reconnaissance Robot 2 units. Their batteries could be replaced as needed, allowing them to remain a standing defensive force around him. 143
