West Port Technology Company is an old, internationally distributed company whose activities reportedly date back to the last century. Its reach includes major branches in Central Europe, the United States, the Island Nation, Huaxia, and a Pacific island, while its headquarters was initially difficult to locate. Its branches are not fully unified, creating internal divisions that Chen Feng later exploits. 175

It first approaches Corona Technology Company under the pretext of cooperation after Corona’s Virtual Reality Helmet and Human Prosthetic Limb attract global attention. In reality, it considers Chen Feng’s products a threat to its market and allies with Li Haoying of Gaofeng Group to gain control of Chen Feng and his technology. 78 79

After negotiations through its representative Charles fail to secure Chen Feng’s technology, West Port continues covert actions against him. It supports Vortex Group, sends personnel including Bob, and later organizes attacks connected to its overseas forces. 163 175

West Port repeatedly attempts to obtain or eliminate Chen Feng because of the strategic value of his technology. Its Afeiken forces are ordered to target Chen Feng’s mining area, with some members hoping that capturing him would let them seize his Wearable Mechanical Exoskeleton technology. 194

Chen Feng responds by investigating the company’s structure, dismantling its Afeiken operations, and using captured or controlled personnel to divide its internal factions.
