Background and History

Shu Qin first appears as a representative of the Big Foot Car Team. At a survivor bonfire gathering, she warns Lin Xian that her team saw a Federal train carrying heavy equipment near Mount Daluo, suggesting that an eerie zone or Great Eerie Entity may be present along the Jiangyu Line. Her warning lowers Lin Xian’s guard toward her group. 53

Her convoy travels in a small group of modified vehicles and relies on improvised survival equipment, including a water-tanker trailer and a sheet-metal rain collector. She requests Lin Xian’s help repairing its water-purification equipment. 56 The Big Foot Car Team is later revealed to have suffered heavily in an ambush by the Black Crow Four, whose zombie-driving member nearly wiped out the convoy. 129

During the Jiazhou corpse-crow disaster, Lin Xian diverts the Infinite to rescue Shu Qin’s trapped team from a maintenance workshop. The Infinite subsequently tows the convoy out of the city while Lu Xingchen and Lin Xian protect it from the flock. 163 166 Shu Qin later joins the Infinite, ending the strain of leading the Big Foot Car Team alone. 198
