Background

Su Qing was a professional baseball player in his previous life and had known Chen Xin through baseball for over a decade. His former career had two distinct periods: an early power-pitching phase centered on a 100-mph fastball, changeup, and sinker, followed by a period in which he lost velocity but developed elite control and sharper breaking pitches. 41
