Lena the Invincible

After the explosions, the only ones still lying on the ground and groaning were Ge Xiaolun, Cheng Yaowen, Zhao Xin, Liu Chuang, and Wuji Yi.

The others were not pretending to be unconscious—they had genuinely passed out. Still, none of them had died. Lena had exercised considerable restraint, and the people in the Super Seminary class were no ordinary people. More or less, they all possessed abilities beyond those of ordinary humans, and their physical strength far surpassed normal standards. A few explosions were not enough to kill them.

Besides, Ryze the Wanderer, who had been monitoring the academy's situation all along, had already sensed the disturbance here and dispatched medical personnel to stand by. The moment Lena finished bombing them, the medics immediately stepped in and carried away those who had been knocked unconscious. From then on, however, those people would gradually fade from the notice of the Super Seminary's upper ranks.

This method of selection might have seemed crude, but Wei Zitong knew that future battles would only become more dangerous and brutal. Anyone who could not withstand even a single Super Micro Radiation-Free Solar Flare Bombardment, whose power Lena had desperately compressed, would only be throwing their life away on a Super Soldier battlefield.

The instant they saw the teasing look in Lena's eyes, Ge Xiaolun and the others immediately got up, held their heads, and squatted in a row, not daring to move. Even the Light Orbs Lena casually scattered could blast them senseless. What would happen if Lena focused her firepower on just one person?

"Hahahaha!" Lena burst out laughing and said, half-jokingly and half-comfortingly, "You guys are already pretty good. You should be happy, you know? Look, if someone gets blown apart by one Super Micro Solar Flare Bombardment, I basically would not even spare them a glance. That means you guys are tough, huh huh. You can satisfy this Goddess's appetite!"

Looking at the row of boys squatting there without daring to make a sound, Lena found it a little boring. She flicked her hand and said, "Isn't anyone going to resist?"

The five held their heads and exchanged glances. When Zhao Xin stood up, Cheng Yaowen shouted, "Hey, ha, as expected of Xin Ye..."

But before he could finish, he saw Zhao Xin turn around and squat back down with his head in his hands, muttering incessantly, "Can't see me, can't see me." Cheng Yaowen nearly spat blood. "Damn it, you're not Zitong!"

Seeing the disdainful look in Du Qiangwei's eyes from not far away, Ge Xiaolun gritted his teeth and stood up. "Looks like I'm the toughest one. How about... I give it a try?"

Liu Chuang stood as well, patted his chest, and said, "I'll do it instead! Hmph!"

"Who has Xin Ye ever been afraid of?" Zhao Xin also stood up and declared with great bravado.

Wuji Yi sprang to his feet and drew his sword, saying solemnly, "Warrior's Honor! Is battle!"

Wei Zitong, who had been marveling at how Lena had knocked down those four melee specialists without even using a solar flare bombardment, suddenly heard Cheng Yaowen mention him. He froze for a moment, then said, "I bought her stuff worth no less than a million. Can you compare to that?"

The implication was that money could avert disaster. Cheng Yaowen immediately regretted his words and hurriedly said, "Damn it, if you need money, you can come to me! I'm a very poor man—so poor that all I have left is money!"

"He can. You can't!" Lena seemed to recall the embarrassing incident from when she had just been teleported over that day, and her tone turned somewhat cold.

"We have to fight too? Didn't you say you'd go easy on us?" Wei Zitong, Du Qiangwei, and Qilin said in unison.

"I am going easy on you. Didn't you see how miserable that group was when I wasn't?" Lena shrugged. "How can you become qualified Xiong Bing Lian Warriors without undergoing this Goddess's test?"

The three were speechless. They felt that Lena had tricked them. What was the difference between this and not going easy on them?

"But I don't have a gun!" Qilin said worriedly. "Besides, guns can kill people in a duel!"

"Damn, what era is this? You're still using guns?" Lena looked at Qilin disdainfully, then thought for a moment. "Oh, right. It's still fine for dealing with you people. You're rather special, so I'll talk to Teacher Liu and have someone specialized assess you!"

Then she looked at Wei Zitong and Du Qiangwei. "As for you two, there's no getting out of this. I watched your fight just now—it was exciting. How about you two come at me together?"

"I'm out of energy..." Wei Zitong tried to make an excuse. Lena looked very strong, and her Divine Body was difficult for him to analyze. He could not inflict a Debuff on her, so fighting her would be difficult.

While the wolves stared in amazement at Lena's explosive figure, Du Qiangwei struck first. Taking advantage of Lena's unguarded moment after she had set down her clothes and turned around, she immediately unleashed her Ultimate Move. Several hundred flying knives flashed into existence and rushed toward Lena in a dense swarm!

"Damn!" Lena was startled and retreated repeatedly. At the same time, she reached into thin air and pulled out a shield, using it to protect her vital areas!

The clanging rang out without end. After the rain of flying knives had passed, not a scrap of cloth on Lena's body outside the shield remained intact, yet her snow-white skin was completely unmarked. She even had a flying knife clenched between her teeth. With several crunches, Lena bit the knife apart and swallowed it, then spat and said, "Hehehehe, no sugar. Tastes bad!"

The wolves' eyes turned green at the sight, and they all swallowed hard. But Du Qiangwei was utterly shocked, muttering to herself, "So this is a Divine Body? Flying knives can't hurt her at all?"

She should have realized it when even Ge Xiaolun had not been hurt by her barrage of flying knives. She simply did not want to admit that such a beautiful woman could possess such a tough body.

Wei Zitong glanced sideways at Lena and, finding that she had not exposed anything too dangerous, let out a sigh of relief. If he had to make Lena invisible again, there would be no point fighting. Who present could defeat an invisible Lena?

"Keep going, keep going!" Lena's fighting spirit had been ignited, and she was becoming more and more excited!

Wei Zitong and Du Qiangwei exchanged a look. He decisively bestowed the Invisibility Buff on both of them, and in an instant, they vanished at the same time!

"Hey, hey, hey, don't play like that. This isn't fun if you do..." Lena shouted repeatedly, trying to stop them, only to take a heavy kick to the back. Her entire body was launched straight into the air.

Du Qiangwei had delivered that kick. After turning invisible, Wei Zitong quickly pinpointed Du Qiangwei's position and swiftly granted her the "Indestructible" and "Immense Strength" Buffs. He truly could not bring himself to hit Lena!

Du Qiangwei had no such reservations. Seeing how powerful her kick had been, she snapped out of her daze in less than a second and swiftly activated a wormhole, charging toward Lena in the sky!

"Ha ha, found you!" Lena laughed as she fired a Solar Flare Bombardment straight down, catching Du Qiangwei right as she emerged from the wormhole!

Du Qiangwei was blasted back into her original form, her body spinning out of control as she plummeted at high speed!

Seeing how fast Du Qiangwei was falling, Wei Zitong knew Lena's strike had been especially heavy. Du Qiangwei was already somewhat dazed, unable even to activate a wormhole!

What shocked him even more was that Lena had shattered the buff he had placed on Du Qiangwei with just one attack!

"Qiangwei!" Somehow finding the strength, Ge Xiaolun scrambled to his feet and rushed toward the rapidly falling Du Qiangwei. But he was simply too far away. No matter how desperately he pushed himself, he could not reach her before she hit the ground!

Just as Ge Xiaolun was about to despair, Du Qiangwei's body abruptly stopped about a meter above the ground. It bobbed up and down a few times before stabilizing.

"It was the wormhole... its operating trajectory exposed me..." Du Qiangwei said with difficulty. As though she had seen the figure who made her feel safe, her gaze turned unfocused as she continued, "From here on... it's up to you..."

"There's no chance..." Wei Zitong, still invisible, said heavily. Above them, a Little Sun was already plummeting at terrifying speed!

Lena had shattered Du Qiangwei's defenses with a single blow and sent her falling to a position where it seemed no one could help her, all to force him to reveal himself and catch Du Qiangwei!

Ignoring Du Qiangwei's objections, Wei Zitong hurled her injured body toward the oncoming Ge Xiaolun, then roared as he faced that terrifying Little Sun head-on!
