Self-Redemption

Riding the shockwaves of the Creators' battle to escape was probably something no one but that little girl Red Queen could pull off.

Nearly ten thousand spacetime chains shattered. The little thing hiding in Kurumi's arms made a valiant sacrifice; before the ninth-rank magic core could explode, it was silently erased by the spatial turbulence.

Kurumi gathered all her strength, protecting her left hand, head, and torso as she finally leaped out of the End Black Universe.

The Divine Bloodline roaring within her body met with resistance and slowly repaired her severed meridians.

Her sea of consciousness had suffered a heavy blow. Who knew how long passed before Kurumi slowly opened her eyes.

"Master? Master, can you hear me?"

Kurumi did not move. She knew Red Queen had transformed back into data and entered her sea of consciousness. Her soul perception had been severely weakened and could now only cover a single city. If she expanded it further, her sea of consciousness would become unstable and trigger a headache.

This was an ordinary city.

It was located on Yingzhou Island.

But the landmark building not far away nearly made Kurumi faint again.

It was the Tokisaki Zaibatsu headquarters.

Had she not leaped out of End Black?

"Master?" Red Queen, who could only gather a phantom-like shadow in her sea of consciousness, grinned foolishly. "It's wonderful that you're okay!"

Kurumi had just been about to ask Red Queen for an explanation when the little girl, as though she could read Kurumi's mind, opened her mouth and said, "We successfully jumped through the End Black Universe's... timeline."

"And it cost 10 Origin Points." Red Queen scratched her head somewhat sheepishly. "But you don't need to worry, Master. The Myriad Worlds Origin System program has already arranged a new native identity for you."
