"Let's not talk about that for now." Kurumi cut off Little Red's suggestion. "Where are Mo Xiao and the others?"
"Do you need me to contact him?" Little Red asked.
"That works. We'll stay with him for a few days."
"Okay, Master, please wait a moment."
Kurumi found a secluded alleyway. After casually dealing with the thugs inside, she crossed her arms and leaned against the cold wall to wait.
"Connect me to Mo Xiao's first-person perspective."
"Okay, Master!"
"Zzt—"
It sounded like an electric current flashing past. Kurumi closed her eyes, and after repeatedly examining the distorted scenery before her, she gradually adapted to it.
"Mo Xiao, what are you doing?"
Mo Xiao froze upon hearing her voice, then quickly reacted. His gaze deepened. "It's a long story."
"Then make it short."
Mo Xiao: "...Please stop using that joke. I've heard it enough already."
Kurumi: "You were the one who started it."
Mo Xiao: "Okay, okay, my fault. As you can see, Kanon and I have surrounded them."
"Surrounded?" Kurumi raised a brow and looked around through Mo Xiao's perspective. There were at least twenty or thirty people on the other side.
After a brief silence, she said, "You really are surrounded, but why?"
Mo Xiao: "Some rich kid from the religious city took a liking to Kanon, so I beat him up. Then he called his brother, and I beat up his brother too. Then his brother called their dad, and I beat up their dad. Then their grandfather came, and I beat him half to death..."
Kurumi could completely imagine what came next. "So the people standing in front of you are the thugs his grandfather hired?"
"In a sense, that's right."
"Send me the coordinates. I'll go play with Kanon-chan for a few days."
"With pleasure."
