Bored, Kurumi soaked herself in the Siren Theocracy's national library, flipping through all kinds of books.
There were especially many young men reading in the library today, though they were almost all gathered in one area. From the reading area by the second-floor windows, they could see the girl standing beneath the bookshelves.
The girl was even more beautiful than an elf. A trace of fragility mixed with her alluring bearing, and when she occasionally frowned while reading, the young men's hearts practically melted.
If not for the two knights armed to the teeth guarding the girl, the library would likely have been overwhelmed by people coming to strike up conversations.
"Borrow all the books here, as well as those in that section."
Kurumi stretched out her small hand and pointed at the areas she meant. Every watchful gaze in the reading area immediately turned toward the books she had indicated.
"A Complete History of the Continent?"
"The Love-Hate Feud Between Kingdoms and Empires?"
"Biographies of the Six Gods?"
"How to Cook Low-Level Monsters?"
"Why are such random books all placed on the same shelf?"
"Write them down quickly. I want to borrow a few later too, so I can properly study the Goddess's tastes."
"You note the left side. I'll note the right!"
The knights finished registering the borrowed books and headed toward the courtyard beside the Supreme Council of the Siren Theocracy. The small house there had already become Kurumi's private room.
After the maid finished arranging the books, she respectfully left the room.
Kurumi did not immediately open any of the books. Lying on the bed, her once-lively eyes were utterly vacant, as though hundreds of monsters had hollowed out her body.
Little Red had taken over the subsystem, directing the Life Mother Tree to create forest
