Arc 1The Earth Dao Takes Root

Zhou Jun and his avatar Di Kun cultivate the Earth Dao, repair the Primordial Wilderness, and establish Di Kun as its ancestor while the Ferocious Beast Calamity spreads. Their work leads them to Mount Zhou’s mysteries and the Netherworld Soil, where Zhou Jun discovers Rootless Water that may shape the underworld’s evolution.

  • Zhou Jun took form as the First Innate Earth Dragon, cultivated the Earth Dao, and began repairing the Western Land’s Earth Veins as Shen Ni declared himself Fierce Beast Emperor.

  • Zhou Jun found the Blood River beneath the Netherworld Soil and concluded that the Eighteen Levels of Hell filtered the resentment of suppressed Chaos Gods and Demons.

As Hongjun led the alliance against Shen Ni, Di Kun suppressed the battlefield’s resentment and the alliance’s leaders reached the Beast Nest to fight Shen Ni.

  • Zhou Jun established dominion over Wuyi Mountain, strengthened his Blessed Land, and decided to investigate Mount Zhou, while Di Kun prepared the Earth Dragon Clan to repair lands damaged by the Ferocious Beasts.
  • Hongjun spread his Immortal Dao and organized a counterattack, while Di Kun and Zhou Jun concealed their plans and investigated Hongjun’s ties to the Chaos Gods and Demons.

Di Kun, Shen Yuan, and Wen Xuan pursued separate plans involving the Earthly Dao, the Abyss, and the past while the Primordial Wilderness recovered. The Dragon-Phoenix-Kirin ancestors appeared, and Wen Xuan continued engraving the Jade Tablet with the world’s history.

  • Shen Ni ended the Ferocious Beast Tribulation by swearing to lead the ferocious beasts into the Abyss, while Di Kun restored the Hundred Thousand Great Mountains and Shen Yuan helped establish the Abyss.
  • Di Kun transformed Wuyi Mountain, held a Dao discussion and battle that earned him the greatest share of Fortune, and then attained Dao Fruit alongside Shen Yuan and Wen Xuan.
  • Shen Yuan prepared the Desolate Mountains as a concealed trading ground, while Di Kun learned that the Earth Dao remained short of origin and abandoned his plan to travel backward through time.
  • Hongjun and the other Chaos Gods and Demons asked Di Kun to help them shed their identities, and Di Kun gave Hongjun a World-Purifying White Lotus seed in exchange for their information.
