Ch. 41Primordial Violet Qi Has a Problem!
Zhou Jun and Di Kun questioned the origin and purpose of Primordial Violet Qi, suspecting Hongjun had refined it from his flesh and fragments of the Creation Jade Disk as part of a scheme. Their speculation broadened to Hongjun’s plans for the Saints and the human race, leaving them uncertain about the motives behind key events in the Primordial Wilderness.
- Zhou Jun proposed that he and Di Kun could retrace Hongjun’s path, but Di Kun noted that each person’s Dao was unique and questioned how anyone else could obtain Primordial Violet Qi.
- Zhou Jun and Di Kun questioned whether Heavenly Dao had bestowed Primordial Violet Qi, pointing to the Saint Fall Altar and Hongjun’s other treasures as evidence that the story did not add up.
- Zhou Jun proposed that Hongjun had refined Primordial Violet Qi from fragments of the Creation Jade Disk and his own body, and Di Kun agreed that the theory seemed plausible.
- Zhou Jun feared Hongjun had lured living beings with Primordial Violet Qi and speculated that Hongjun might have arranged the later disappearance of the six Saints; the author briefly remarked that he could not move the characters to another world.
- Di Kun questioned why Hongyun’s life had been exchanged for a strand of Primordial Violet Qi and whether the reincarnations of Fuxi, Black Tortoise, and Hongyun into the human race were truly dictated by fate.
- Zhou Jun wondered whether Fuxi and Nuwa had hidden purposes connected to yin and yang, creation, and the Eight Trigrams, and questioned why Nuwa appeared to abandon the Great Dao of Creation after making humans.
