The lingering heat of battle had yet to disperse from the cave, and the air was thick with the scorching scent of burning.

After the Four-armed Foul Spirit was slain, the cave temporarily fell silent.

But moments later, the Magic Teleportation Array suddenly flickered with faint light. An unstable spatial ripple spread outward, and another hideous Demon tumbled out of the array.

Ang stood before the array, his expression cold, Flame Punishment still unsheathed in his hand.

The instant the Demon hit the ground, he became a blur. His flame-infused sword drew a searing arc through the air and split the Demon in two.

Before its blood could even hit the ground, another flash appeared. A new Demon emerged and fell beneath Ang's sword once more.

The cycle repeated itself. After a full ten minutes, the cave was piled with Demon remains, and the stench of blood was nauseating.

Ang's expression did not change, but his eyes grew sharper.

He already understood that this Magic Teleportation Array was merely a passage through which Demons poured endlessly.

When the number of Demon corpses reached forty-five, the Magic Teleportation Array's glow suddenly dimmed, as if those on the other side had finally noticed something was wrong.

Moments later, the teleportation array went completely still. No more Demons came through.

Before long, Dana and the others entered the cave one after another.

Gweny wiped the blood from her face and asked between breaths, "My lord, is everything here taken care of?"

Ang nodded and glanced at the mountain of Demon remains on the ground. "It's all over. For now."

"Could this Magic Teleportation Array be the Gate of Foul Spirits we're looking for?" Dana frowned, hesitation visible on his face.
