"Have you encountered any Tier 2 Foul Spirits?" Cynthia could not help asking, her gaze falling on Ang, her tone filled with obvious anticipation.

"Yes." Ang simply nodded, his tone calm, as though he were stating something trivial.

Their brief exchange immediately excited Cynthia, her eyes blazing with fervor.

"Why are you so excited?" Dana scratched his head at the side and asked softly in confusion.

"That's because you don't know how powerful the Demons on the God-Demon Battlefield are," Cynthia said seriously.

"Yeah." Hicks nodded with a sigh. "We really envy you for having dealt with Demons beforehand. Unlike us, we'll probably have to struggle for a while before we can adapt."

Seeing how intently everyone was listening, Ang briefly explained the Demons' movement patterns and weaknesses.

His tone was neither rushed nor slow, yet it carried a persuasive force.

Several team members who had been waiting nearby quietly edged closer. On the surface, they looked as though they were casually glancing around, but every one of them had pricked up their ears.

"Then... if we end up assigned together, can we form a team with you?" Hicks asked tentatively, a hint of pleading in his voice.

"Can newcomers freely form teams?" Ang frowned slightly, somewhat puzzled.

"We can." Hicks nodded. "Once you're on the battlefield, no one will lead you around, no matter how distinguished your background is. Those veterans and old warbands would rather see you go off and die on your own."

"Really?" Dana looked stunned. "Do we really have to learn the Demons' fighting rhythm by ourselves?"

"Of course." Hicks's tone turned serious. "We're not fresh recruits who just put on military uniforms. We're already Great Warriors or Archmages. On the God-Demon Battlefield, the only thing you can truly rely on is your own squad."
