Uchiha Chen investigated a threat near Beika Town, encountered the Third Mizukage, and helped uncover tensions within Kirigakure. As the Chunin Exams brought the Five Great Nations to Konoha, Chen and Tsunade intervened to protect Uzumaki Kana, who became Tsunade’s disciple.

• Uchiha Chen trained Mikoto and Kushina, agreed to help Fugaku seek treatment for his blind eye, and negotiated with Tsunade over the Small Mine she demanded for surgery.
• After learning about Kyoko’s unborn child, Chen chose not to act against Obito and took a mission to Beika Town with Mikoto and Himeji.
• Chen’s team fought Kaguya Hikaru and Mist Ninja, then found Beika Town in chaos and learned that the Former Daimyo’s Son was involved in a coup plot.
• Chen waited on the coast for Kirigakure forces, fought a powerful Mist Ninja, and discovered that his opponent was the Third Mizukage seeking help for his sick disciple, Kaguya Jou.
• The Third Mizukage left Konoha after entrusting Jou to Orochimaru, while Konoha’s leaders debated the Mist’s internal conflict and the Daimyo’s plans to reestablish the Twelve Guardian Ninja.
• Chen submitted Team One’s roster for the Chunin Exams, and the arrival of foreign shinobi brought clashes involving Rasa, Sakumo, Chiyo, and other visitors.
• Tsunade and Orochimaru led the Chunin Exams, where the surviving candidates began a five-day flag contest and Minato’s team found Kusagakure survivors fleeing Iwa-nin.
• Chen arranged to take Kana from the Training Ground, Tsunade comforted her at the hospital and made her a disciple, and Chen told Orochimaru he had dealt with the Iwa-nin and a surviving Grass ninja.

Uchiha Chen left Konoha for the Daimyo’s Capital as Madara’s plan transformed Kirigakure into the Bloody Mist Village. Meanwhile, Odaichi fled toward Konoha and Fugaku’s mission in the Land of Rainbows ended with him facing Yamaki.

• Uchiha Chen trained Kushina with the Nine-Tails’ Chakra, then Minato defeated Rasa in the Chunin Exam before Kushina beat Minato and faced Mikoto in the final.
• Sarutobi Hiruzen made Uchiha Chen a Guardian Ninja and assigned him to monitor the Daimyo’s Capital and investigate Hidden Mist Village after Konoha lost contact with its spies.
• Madara defeated the Third Mizukage, ordered White Zetsu to kill him and take his place, and set the village on a path to becoming the Bloody Mist Village.
• Uchiha Chen arrived in the Daimyo’s Capital with Mikoto and Himeji, confronted the general’s forces, and helped Himeji defeat Sato during the Guardian Ninja reorganization.
• The Third Mizukage returned to Kirigakure, accused village leaders and ninja of plotting against him, and announced sweeping reforms and the Bloody Mist name.
• Odaichi escaped toward Konoha under Mikoto and Himeji’s protection, while Fugaku departed on a mission to assassinate Imu in the Land of Rainbows.
• Fugaku killed Imu, but Yamaki revealed Imu’s connection to Hidden Mist Village and trapped Fugaku as he tried to escape.

After Fugaku’s apparent death, Chen defeated Uchiha Yama and returned to Konoha as the clan’s future remained contested. Madara died after entrusting Fugaku with his plan, while Chen gave Orochimaru Mangekyo Sharingan to further his research.

• Fugaku was presumed dead after the Seven Ninja Swordsmen drove him into a river, and Uchiha Yama awakened his Mangekyo Sharingan as he vowed revenge on Konoha and the Hidden Mist.
• Chen fought Uchiha Yama, escaped his Naobi God genjutsu, and killed him, while Fugaku arrived and was knocked unconscious by Spiral Zetsu.
• Madara taught Fugaku about the plan to project a dream world onto the moon, entrusted him with carrying it out, and died, and Fugaku then left a White Zetsu clone in Konoha in his place.
• The Uchiha elders voted to make Chen clan head, but Fugaku returned before the decision could settle the clan’s leadership.
• After Tsunade treated Chen, he returned to Konoha with Mikoto and Himeji, warned the Third Hokage about the Hidden Mist, and agreed to assist Orochimaru in investigating Uchiha Yama’s death.
• Chen decided to join the Police Force and teach Uchiha children, reunited with Minato and Nawaki, then gave Orochimaru a pair of Mangekyo Sharingan.

Chen took Kushina to the Land of Whirlpools, where they recovered Uzumaki relics and survived a Mist ambush, then he returned to Konoha and began training Kakashi. Chen mastered perfect Sage Mode and Sage Arts at Ryūchi Cave as Fugaku and Yagura moved to seize control of Kirigakure.

• Orochimaru told Chen he wanted an assistant to help investigate Impure World Reincarnation, while Chen completed Konoha’s barrier expansion with Minato and Kushina and gave Minato the Flying Thunder God Technique.
• Chen agreed to teach Kakashi and received a mission from the Third Hokage to retrieve Uzumaki legacy in the Land of Whirlpools with Kushina.
• Chen and Kushina found Kushina’s time capsule and a hidden shrine, but Mist shinobi ambushed them and Chen killed Raiga Kurosuki with a Shadow Clone and Chidori.
• Chen had Tame Nakaiichirō reforge the Lightning Blade into the Infinity Blade, returned to Konoha with Kushina, and began training Kakashi.
• Chen traveled to Ryūchi Cave, endured Tagorihime’s Natural Energy training, and mastered perfect Sage Mode and Sage Arts.
• Chen asked Tagorihime to teach him Inorganic Reanimation and began practicing the Sage Art in Ryūchi Cave.
• Yagura advanced his coup plans with Tobi while the Third Mizukage ordered Juzo Biwa to find Suigetsu.
• Yagura lured the Third Mizukage out of the village, stabbed him, and helped Fugaku defeat the Kirigakure ninja before Fugaku planned to make Yagura the Fourth Mizukage.
