Kiana's heart skipped a beat.

"Make me a cup of tea."
"No way."
Kiana said with a sour expression.
Otto shook his head again.
"The first thing a Valkyrie must understand is: all for Schicksal, all for humanity."
"The second is this: obey your superior's orders."
"But you aren't an official Valkyrie yet. At most, you're a Valkyrie trainee. Only after passing the Valkyrie examination will you become an official Valkyrie."
"Huh? There's an exam too?"

A cold wind slipped in through the crack of the open window, making the curtains rustle.

Otto rose from the bed, and the thin blanket slid from his body, exposing a large expanse of pale skin.
Barefoot, he walked to the window, drew back the curtains, and looked through the floor-to-ceiling glass at the sky.
The sky was still overcast. A torrential rain had fallen all night and only stopped near dawn.
Even so, Otto still felt refreshed all over.
Standing before the floor-to-ceiling window, he looked down at the city shrouded in shadow and stretched lazily.
This feeling was as though he possessed the entire world.
Otto was currently staying in the top-floor suite of the city's most luxurious hotel.
