"Otto definitely has ulterior motives!"
"And why did you hand your daughter over to Otto? That's like throwing a lamb to the wolves! Otto will devour her down to the bone!"
Tesla irritably ran a hand through her hair.
"I..." Siegfried crossed his arms with one hand, recalling his meeting with Otto. "I feel like Otto has changed somehow."
In reality, Otto and Siegfried had no irreconcilable differences.
During the Second Honkai War, Cecilia's Holy Blood Liberation was to save Siberia, which had been contaminated by the runaway Sirin Herrscher core.
Cecilia was doomed before Otto detonated the Honkai Energy Fission Bomb.
Not to mention the Black Abyss White Flower; even it couldn't have saved her.
In Siegfried's eyes, Bishop Otto's actions were all aimed at eradicating Honkai, even if his methods were extreme.
His main reason for fleeing Schicksal was simply that Bishop Otto's methods had encroached upon his family.
That's why, when he was in Italy, he could sit down and talk with Otto.
"We can only trust Otto right now. Tesla, let's focus on finding a way to rescue Ryoma. But why haven't we heard any news from the prison about Ryoma lately?"
"Sigh, my informant is still trying to make contact. I'm sure we'll have news soon."
Tesla sighed.
The reformists and conservatives within Anti-Entropy were mobilized overnight because of Otto.
However, in the region where Changkong City was located, the branch leader of the Far East Branch, the headmaster of St. Freya Academy, Theresa Apocalypse, was still fast asleep.
Chapter 37: Kiana Has No Mother 5/5
Otto was dreaming.
He dreamt of countless Zombie Kianas surrounding him and biting him.
No, I can't hold on much longer.
Otto's body trembled violently, and he opened his eyes, looking at the TV still playing a zombie movie.
Damn it, why did that unlucky kid Kiana set it to loop?
I'll remember this grudge!
Otto got a headache.
Just then, he heard a faint breathing sound from his abdomen. He lowered his head and saw the little white fluffball lying on the sofa, her head resting on Otto's lap as she slept.
And Otto had fallen asleep on the sofa himself last night.
Really.
Otto looked at Kiana's adorable sleeping face. He picked up the remote control nearby and turned off the TV, then lowered his head.
"Mwah~"
Otto kissed Kiana's lips.
This wasn't the first time; Otto had already kissed Kiana twice before.
His lips touched and then pulled away. Otto looked down at Kiana, who was still sleeping. With her eyes closed, she looked like an angel.
Mwah x5.
Otto settled the score, kissing her six times in total.
After kissing her, Otto picked up his phone. It was already seven in the morning, and there was a message on his phone.
[I've arrived]
The message was short, but Otto looked at it, a smile appearing on his face.
Now, he felt very secure.
Originally, Otto's trip to Changkong City wasn't just for Raiden Mei, but also to help him adapt more quickly to his identity as Bishop of Schicksal.
However, the appearance of the Will of Honkai had slightly disrupted his plans, so he sought help within Schicksal.
There was a Flat Expert who had experience with the Will of Honkai.
As long as she was on his side, he would feel incredibly secure.
"Wake up, wake up." Otto gently patted Kiana, shaking her body. "Don't you have plans with someone today?"
Otto remembered Kiana was supposed to meet Asakura Miyuki, so he woke her up to avoid ruining her appointment.
Otto disliked breaking promises, because if he broke a promise, others could also disregard their promises to him.
He didn't want Kiana to become someone who didn't keep her promises.
"Mmm..."
Kiana was woken up by Otto. She curled up slightly, nuzzling against Otto's stomach like a kitten. After a few rubs, she opened her eyes.
Because she realized this wasn't her pillow.
Otto's Soul Steel body was stiff and unyielding.
Her sleepiness vanished, and Kiana's eyes glinted with vigilance. Having lived alone for so long, she was no stranger to being on guard.
However, upon realizing it was Otto, her vigilance faded, and she settled back onto his lap.
"Nooo... I want to sleep a little longer," Kiana yawned, curling up and then sneezing adorably while covering her nose.
It seemed she was cold.
After all, she'd slept all night in such light clothing.
Otto could only sigh, then took off his jacket and draped it over Kiana's waist.
Kiana didn't open her eyes, instead pulling Otto's jacket up to her shoulders. Otto, however, pulled it back down to her waist.
"Your stomach will get cold easily," Otto said with a hint of exasperation.
Hearing Otto's words, Kiana stopped pulling the jacket up.
"You can only sleep a little longer, so you don't run out of time later."
"Sigh, honestly, I feel like I'm becoming your mother," Otto remarked.
"If my future child is as disobedient as you, I'll have to start a new character."
Kiana merely snorted in response.
"Hmph hmph~"
"Go ahead, I don't want a daddy M..."
Kiana trailed off, and Otto didn't press further. He looked at her, placing a hand on her head and stroking it gently.
Feeling Otto's touch, Kiana clutched his clothes slightly.
She... had never met her mother.
Otto's stroking continued, and for some reason, Kiana felt a warmth.
It felt like... her mother was truly caressing her.
About half an hour later, Kiana truly got up. Otto picked up his jacket and put it on. Kiana, after tying her braid, took her casual clothes to the shower room to change.
"Wear the White Comet armor. I'll feel more at ease that way," Otto said. Kiana considered it, set down her casual clothes, and took White Comet into the shower room.
Otto's reason for having Kiana wear White Comet was simple: the situation in Changkong City was uncertain, and wearing White Comet would make Kiana safer.
Once fully dressed, Otto and Kiana stood at the doorway.
"If anything happens, call me."
Otto watched Kiana bend down to put on her shoes at the entrance. He had to admit, Kiana's waist and hip curves were alluring. Kiana finished with her shoes and playfully saluted Otto.
"I'm leaving then."
"Wait," Otto called out to Kiana, who was about to open the door. Kiana paused with her hand on the doorknob, looking at Otto quizzically.
"In the Far East, wives who are home give their husbands a kiss when they leave."

Otto opened his arms towards Kiana, who let out an exasperated laugh.
"What are you talking about? No way. Besides, aren't the genders reversed?"
She shook her head, and Otto spoke.
"Then let me pat your head again, like parents sending their child off."
"Patting my head won't make me grow taller," Kiana said, but she still walked towards Otto. Otto raised his hand and placed it on Kiana's head, ruffling her white hair.
"Have a safe journey."
"Mhm," Kiana replied. She pushed the door open and left.
Otto stood in the room, looking at the closed door. He remained there.
After about ten minutes, Otto figured Kiana should be far enough away and leisurely opened the door.
He walked out, closing the door softly without a sound.
Then he went to the next room.
The young lady inside was the main event for today.
Though this felt like sneaking around. Perhaps this was the inconvenience of having two wives.

Chapter 38: Operation: Date Battle
"Mei, oh Mei, I know it's hard for you to fall in love with me right away, but why can't you just sincerely..."
"Call me 'husband'?"
In the restaurant, Otto leisurely held a cup of black tea and said with a smile.
Mei sat opposite him. She was no longer wearing a bathrobe, but a pure white dress, spotless, like a blooming lily.
If ink were splashed on her, watching her purity be stained bit by bit might be quite interesting.
"Mr. O-Otto..."
She couldn't say it.
How could she possibly say it!
Mei stammered a little. Although she had agreed to learn to love Otto, how could a shy, reclusive girl understand how to love someone, let alone be asked to use such a shameful term right off the bat.
However, Otto wasn't in a hurry. Even for the enthusiastic Kiana, it took time to win her heart.
Even though he was a high-quality man, he would still need some time.
"Then can you drop the 'Mr.' and just call me Otto?"
Otto took a step back, proposing the address he had originally wanted Mei to agree to.
"Okay. O-Otto."
This was the first time Mei had called a man by his name directly.
"Don't be so stiff. Partners in love are equal. I'm not your simp, and you're not my simp."
"Of course, if you want to simp, I won't refuse."
