Grand Lunar Monarch was in an exceptionally miserable state. His body had been torn in two, one half trampled beneath Chu Rukuang's foot while the other had fled into the distance. His eyes blazed with fury and disbelief as he threw back his head and roared.

To him, all of this was simply unimaginable.

Countless years ago, he and Chu Rukuang had been hailed as the twin prodigies of heaven and earth. They had fought seven times without a victor, the brightest stars of their era. Yet after all these years, Chu Rukuang, who had been sealed away for ages, had actually defeated him!

This filled him with rage and made him unable to accept it. It was as though his pride had been trampled beneath someone's feet!

"Nine Transformations of the Celestial Silkworm—I understand now. During all those years you were sealed, you were not merely clinging to life. You completely mastered the Nine Transformations of the Celestial Silkworm! It allows one to constantly break through oneself and transform amid adversity. That seal appeared to imprison you, but in truth, it helped you!"

Grand Lunar Monarch's tone was icy. Blood flowed from half his body as he stared fixedly at Chu Rukuang from afar.

Chu Rukuang's voice was cold, his body robust and upright.

There was not the slightest trace of old age left on him now.
