"Why is the Going Merry here?" Luffy looked utterly bewildered.
Robin's brows drew together slightly. After thinking for a moment, she said slowly, "Most likely, the people of Sky Island considered it a burden and threw it away from the harbor. It drifted along the currents of the White-White Sea and happened to float right in front of us."
That was the only possible explanation.
It couldn't be that someone had deliberately controlled the Going Merry and made it drift over to them, could it?
Why would they? What would be the point?
Ever since that ship had appeared, Crocodile's gaze had never left it.
He slowly stroked his chin and spoke thoughtfully. "This is a ready-made, excellent vessel."
Its wooden hull was spacious and sturdy, and it would not be eroded by the Cloud Sea.
It was simply perfect for wrapping up Ability Users like them.
However, the moment he said that, Shanks immediately shook his head. "No." His tone was firm. "That's Luffy's companion."
He knew all too well how Luffy felt about that ship.
Previously, rather than abandon the Going Merry, that kid had been willing to risk the ship being destroyed and everyone dying just to bring it with them as they charged up to Sky Island.
If they dismantled the ship and used it as a tool, Luffy would be the first to refuse.
"That's fine."
To everyone's surprise, Luffy scratched his head, looking completely at ease. "If the Going Merry can help, isn't that a good thing? Tell me, what do we need to do?"
"Hm?"
Everyone was stunned.
Crocodile raised a brow and looked at him with amusement. "Straw Hat brat, have you thought this through? This ship will have to be taken apart and modified. Once we're done, it'll probably fall apart
