As expected, killing Mu En early was the right call.
Su Ming thought to himself.
What were Soul Skills?
They were one of the many Soul Skill possibilities randomly acquired after a Soul Master absorbed a Soul Ring, generated through the combination of the absorbed Soul Beast's abilities and the Martial Soul's abilities.
That was the case for ordinary Soul Masters.
For Soul Masters with top-tier Martial Souls, their Soul Skills tended strongly toward certain outcomes. For example, the Dai Family had acquired the White Tiger Adamant Change Soul Skill generation after generation. So long as they absorbed a Power Attack System Soul Beast for their Third Soul Ring, they would almost certainly obtain that Soul Skill. The only difference was its quality—in other words, how much Soul Power it consumed.
Bei Bei was the same.
At least three generations had passed from Mu En to Bei Bei, and the bloodline had been diluted, yet Bei Bei had still inherited those two great arts through his Soul Rings alone.
It was clear that Mu En had cultivated those two sets of supreme arts into his Martial Soul.
"Even so, Mu En was only a Demigod, still far, far from being a Quasi-God."
Even if he returned to his peak condition and no longer suffered from physical ailments, he still would not have been a Quasi-God. He was nowhere close.
It was not that Mu En lacked worth, but that he had no external aid.
A Quasi-God had already entered the domain of Gods by another path.
Di Tian had always been in that domain. It was simply that no such realm classification had existed before Dou Er, because this domain only became widespread after Battle Armor appeared.
Only by using external aid to push the limit of one's explosive power
