Background / History

Qian Ren Xue is the daughter of Qian Xun Ji and Bibi Dong, and Qian Daoliu’s granddaughter. As a child, she sought Bibi Dong’s attention and arranged a birthday celebration in the hope that her mother would remember it. Bibi Dong remained emotionally distant, while Qian Daoliu took pride in her potential. 10 40

Her relationship with Qian Ren Shang was hostile from childhood. She spoke badly of him and had previously enjoyed seeing him cry, but his disappearance from Martial Soul Hall left her conflicted; she later recognized that he had been kind to her and became desperate to surpass him in Bibi Dong’s eyes. 15 42 70

To earn Bibi Dong’s approval and advance Martial Soul Hall’s interests, Qian Ren Xue assassinated the original Crown Prince Xue Qinghe and replaced him. As Xue Qinghe, she worked to gradually seize control of the Heaven Dou Empire from within. 67 95
