| Status | Active |
| First Appearance | 2 |
Background / History
Spirit Hall developed from an earlier church that helped human Soul Masters establish a place to survive amid Soul Beast threats. The modern organization retained parts of that structure, though much of the ancient church’s organization had changed by the present era. Slaughter City and Spirit Hall both appeared roughly a thousand years earlier and are bound by an old agreement. 2 122 127
Despite its later reputation as a “city of sin,” Spirit Hall’s branches provide free martial soul awakenings for commoners, including children from remote areas. Its personnel also travel to outlying villages for annual awakening days. 2
Tang Hao’s campaign against remote branches caused extensive civilian casualties and destruction. In response, Spirit Hall publicized the attacks, launched an expedition against the Clear Sky Sect, and ultimately defeated the sect. 50 56 61
Following the campaign, Spirit Hall compensated families of civilians harmed in the branch attacks. It also promised that, for three generations, children who awakened with Soul Power could study at their local Spirit Hall. 85

| Elder Council / Elder Hall | Governing body that approves appointments such as the Saintess and Pope Successor. 122 345 |
| Worship Hall | Home of the Enshrined; worshippers require at least Rank 96 and approval by internal vote. 122 |
| Douluo Hall | Sacred site for Titled Douluo title ceremonies and the burial of fallen Titled Douluo. 201 337 |

| Research Institute Zero | Research institute established after Shi Yueyi’s coronation; Shi Yueyi serves as its honorary director. 246 |
Branch Hierarchy
Spirit Hall operates branches across the continent. Main Temples are headed by Soul Sage-level red-robed bishops; subordinate-temple bishops are generally Soul Emperors. Branches are usually managed by deacons, with chief deacons commonly at Soul Ancestor level and occasional Soul Kings. 85
Special commissioners from Spirit Hall’s Soul Master legions were assigned to branches to enforce new policies and deter misconduct. 85
Saintess and Pope Succession
The offices of Saint Son, Saintess, and future Pope are no longer reserved for the Pope’s disciples. Candidates are selected according to talent, strength, and contributions to Spirit Hall. The Saintess’s status is equal to that of an elder, and bishops must formally receive her at branches. 122 162
Shi Yueyi was named Pope Successor by Qian Daoliu and Bibi Dong during the Continental Advanced Spirit Master Academy Tournament. Bibi Dong later stepped down, and Shi Yueyi became Pope. 345 408
Forces and Resources
Angel Legion
- A special Spirit Hall force composed entirely of flying-type Soul Masters. 56
- During the Clear Sky Sect expedition, Qian Daoliu mobilized more than 150 members, all Soul Emperors to Soul Sages. 56
- Its airborne specialists were used to overcome the Clear Sky Sect ancestral land’s fortified mountain defenses and prevent escape. 56
Enshrined and Elders
- Spirit Hall’s highest-ranking combatants include the seven Enshrined, led by Qian Daoliu, as well as Titled Douluo elders. 122 379
- Qian Renxue and Shi Yueyi later used Mermaid’s Tears and Chaos Qi to strengthen the Enshrined’s Spiritual Power and soul rings as part of a plan to help them approach godhood. 379
- Twenty years after the publication of new cultivation methods, many worshippers and elders had obtained godhoods. 445
Merit System
Spirit Hall uses a merit system through which members can exchange contributions for cultivation resources, pills, Soul Tools, and other rewards. Soul bones are among the highest-grade rewards. 279
Policies and Initiatives
Martial Soul Awakening and Education
- Provides free martial soul awakenings to commoners. 2
- Distributes the Universal Meditation Method, described as a cultivation resource available to every Soul Master. 246
- Expanded local educational access for Soul Power-bearing children after the Clear Sky Sect conflict. 85
Research and Knowledge
Spirit Hall compiles martial soul data gathered over more than a thousand years but does not claim complete understanding of all martial souls. It announced the Martial Soul Grand Compendium to provide verified cultivation knowledge and counter misinformation. 245 246
Research Institute Zero welcomes aspiring researchers to contribute cultivation ideas and findings. 246
Soul Tools and Soul Engineering
- Recruited Blacksmith Association president Lou Gao by offering blacksmiths the opportunity to become Soul Engineers and receive equal treatment within Spirit Hall. 104
- Obtained cooperation with the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect through an exchange involving Soul Tool crafting methods, merchant-association shares, and soul bone reserves. 98
- Later promoted Soul Tool research through the Silver Moon Temple. 343
Public Welfare
After restructuring Soul Master subsidies, Spirit Hall redirected saved funds toward impoverished regions. Its policy combined assistance for ordinary people with forceful punishment of hostile factions. 201
Spirit Hall’s later cultivation reforms included the Spirit Gathering and Spirit Ascension secret methods. Spirit Gathering enabled Soul Masters to obtain suitable soul skills without hunting Soul Beasts for soul rings. 445
Major Conflicts
Clear Sky Sect
Spirit Hall held the Clear Sky Sect accountable for destroyed branches and the assassination of Dugu Bo. Qian Daoliu’s forces sealed the sect’s mountain, presented evidence against it, and overcame its defenses with the Angel Legion. 56 57
The sect’s defeat allowed Spirit Hall to recruit or negotiate with former Clear Sky-affiliated groups, including members of the Four Clans. 61 107 109
Sea God Island
After Qian Renxue killed Sea Star Douluo and Sea Illusion Douluo, Spirit Hall displayed bronze statues of the two before Douluo Hall. The statues were made by Soul Tool Association president Lou Gao and were intended as a public warning to enemies. 194 201
Spirit Hall later fought Sea God Island and Poseidon’s forces directly. The conflict included the defense of Slaughter City, battles against Bo Saixi and Sea God Island’s Titled Douluo, and psychological warfare targeting the island. 264 266 408
Slaughter City
Shi Yueyi declared that Slaughter City should serve first as a prison for criminals incarcerated by Spirit Hall. She entered the city with Soul Tools and established the Serene Night Temple, which grew to nearly a thousand members within three months. 128 137
Spirit Hall subsequently brought Slaughter City under covert control, deploying sentries and aerial Soul Tools around its outskirts. 262
