"Even if he got out early, why did he come looking for me?" Jaco felt like his whole world was falling apart.
As he spoke, Jaco's hands flew across the buttons on the computer.
Sure enough, Jaco quickly discovered that a spaceship was speeding straight toward him.
Jaco broke out in a cold sweat and hurriedly steered his spaceship onto a different course.
Please don't let him be coming for me.
"Maybe he wasn't specifically looking for you," Iilik guessed. "Perhaps you just happened to run into each other in space."
"Run into each other in space by chance? The odds of that are lower than a meteor hitting Planet Vegeta!" Jaco did not know whether to laugh or cry. He immediately clasped his hands together and prayed silently. "God, please don't let Frieza's son find my spaceship."
"Jaco, hold on. I'll come support you right away." Merus made his decision without hesitation.
"Merus, you're a good man!" Jaco said, tears streaming down his face. Then he added solemnly, "But won't it take you more than a day to get here?"
"No, my spaceship is very fast. It's at least ten times faster than yours. I can get there in less than half an hour," Merus replied.
Jaco felt stabbed right through the heart.
Why was Merus's spaceship faster than his?
And by so much, too.
There was a full ten seconds of silence.
"We can put the spaceship matter aside for now... He's Frieza's son... Even if you can beat him, what if you provoke Frieza himself and bring him here?" Jaco said worriedly.
"Then we'll arrest him and lock them both up in the Galactic Great Prison." Merus smiled.
Jaco: "..."
Jaco no longer wanted to speak.
How could Merus be so full of himself?
He wanted to lock Frieza up in the Galactic Great Prison?
"Good luck, Officer Jaco," Iilik said sympathetically. "Still, the Galactic Patrol has always kept out of Frieza Force's business. Hopefully, you can avoid this disaster."
"You make so much sense. Now hurry up and shut up," Jaco snapped, ending the call.
Right after that, Jaco checked Kuriza's spaceship on the radar again.
To his horror, he discovered that the other spaceship was rapidly pursuing him.
Jaco was no longer calm.
In space.
Inside a flattened, disk-shaped spaceship belonging to the Frieza Force, Kuriza stood by the window and looked into the distance.
At the edge of his vision, he could just make out the Galactic Patrol spaceship ahead.
"Prince Kuriza, that's a Galactic Patrol spaceship," one of his underlings stepped forward to report.
"The Galactic Patrol?" Kuriza smiled, his tail gently swaying behind him. "Interesting. I've heard of the Galactic Patrol for a long time, but Father's force has rarely come to this region."
"Prince Kuriza, should we attack and take down the Galactic Patrol base?" the underling asked respectfully.
"Let me do what Father doesn't want to do!" Kuriza gave a smug smile. "Aren't the Galactic Patrol warriors supposed to maintain peace in the universe? This universe should have its peace maintained by our family, not some Galactic Patrol!"
"Then... Prince Kuriza, should we shoot down that spaceship?" the underling asked.
"Take them alive!" Kuriza ordered.
"Yes!" the underling answered at once.
Whoosh!
Kuriza's spaceship abruptly accelerated, speeding after Jaco's spaceship.
Beep! Beep! Beep!
Just then, the Scouter over Kuriza's eye suddenly sounded.
Kuriza pressed the communication button on the Scouter.
"Father?" Kuriza froze.
"Kuriza, why aren't you staying frozen on the home planet like you should be? What are you doing out there?" Frieza's voice came through, carrying a trace of displeasure.
"Father, I was too bored, so I came out early to stretch my legs." Kuriza chuckled.
"Hmph. Do you think you're already very strong?" Frieza snorted.
"Father, although I was only frozen for three years, my battle power has already reached thirty million!" Kuriza smiled smugly. "With a battle power like that, I should be able to go anywhere I want in this universe, right?"
"That may be true, but this universe is not as simple as you think. Get back and freeze yourself immediately!" Frieza ordered coldly.
"Don't say that, Father. I don't want to sleep in such a boring environment." Kuriza shook his head in refusal.
"Then tell me, what are you doing in Galactic Patrol territory?" Frieza rebuked him.
"Father rules the Western Universe, Uncle Cooler rules the Eastern Universe, and Grandfather rules the Southern Universe. At present, only the Northern Universe is under the Galactic Patrol's control, right?" Kuriza said with a smile. "Of course I'm going to unify the Northern Universe. Then our family can rule the entire universe."
"The Galactic Patrol's territory is under the Supreme Kai's management. Don't act recklessly!" Frieza frowned deeply and shouted coldly.
"The Supreme Kai?" Kuriza immediately laughed, his voice filled with disdain. "What's so impressive about the Supreme Kai? If I get the chance, I wouldn't mind wiping him out!"
"Kuriza, you underestimate the power of gods too much!" Frieza scolded.
"Father, don't worry. Isn't God of Destruction Beerus our backer?" Kuriza smiled indifferently. "Even the Supreme Kai has to show God of Destruction Beerus some respect, doesn't he?"
Frieza fell silent.
That made far too much sense.
He did not even know how to argue against it.
"You may explore, but you must proceed carefully. If you truly encounter the Supreme Kai, leave immediately!" After thinking it over carefully, Frieza gave Kuriza his orders.
"I understand, Father. I know my limits." Kuriza nodded in agreement.
After ending the call, Kuriza's spaceship rammed directly into Jaco's spaceship.
Bang!
With a deafening crash, Luo Tian immediately felt himself collide with a soft body inside the spaceship.
"Ah..."
Tights cried out and jolted awake, her face full of panic.
Then Tights looked down and discovered that Luo Tian had his face pressed firmly against her chest.
Tights: "..."
"What happened?" Tights was not angry. Luo Tian was only a child, after all.
Besides, the violent shaking of the spaceship had filled Tights with endless fear.
"Could the spaceship have hit a meteor?" Tights turned pale and immediately pressed herself against the spaceship window to look outside.
The next moment, Tights was shocked to see a huge spaceship appear outside the window.
The other spaceship loomed like a colossal beast in space, filling Tights with despair.
"Th-This... is this a Space Pirate?" Tights was dumbfounded, breaking out in a cold sweat.
"Looks like you were right. It really does count as a Space Pirate." Luo Tian also looked toward that spaceship, unable to hide his confusion.
