Chapter Summaries

Kakarot met Old Man Gohan, who brought him home and cared for him before rescuing him from a wolf in the forest. Meanwhile, Luo Tian gathered all seven Dragon Balls and summoned Shenron, asking him to grant Broly the ability to survive in the vacuum of space.

• Kakarot ate Old Man Gohan's book, followed him home for food, and then scratched his face again before running into the forest.
• Old Man Gohan found Kakarot asleep near a huge wolf, scared the wolf away, and carried Kakarot home.
• Luo Tian found a sixth Dragon Ball, and Broly returned with the seventh.
• Luo Tian summoned Shenron while Bulma and Broly watched in amazement.

After Shenron granted Broly the ability to survive in outer space, Luo Tian redirected one of the stone Dragon Balls to Bulma’s warehouse while the others scattered across the world. The falling Dragon Balls struck Master Roshi, Lapis, and Old Man Gohan’s home, leaving them confused as Kakarot slept on.

• Shenron granted Broly the ability to survive in outer space, and Broly promised not to hit him.

Dr. Briefs asked Luo Tian to help repair an alien spaceship, and Luo Tian suspected the alien was Galactic Patrolman Jaco. On a remote island, Jaco waited for a dangerous alien while Tights questioned him about his uniform and biology.

• Old Man Gohan woke after Kakarot bit his thigh and watched the sleeping child with affection.
• Dr. Briefs told Luo Tian that his daughter had encountered an alien with a broken spaceship, and Luo Tian agreed to help, suspecting the alien was Jaco.

Jaco discovered that Kuriza was pursuing his spaceship and called Merus for help, while Kuriza defied Frieza’s orders and advanced into Galactic Patrol territory. Kuriza rammed Jaco’s ship, waking Tights and leaving her and Luo Tian facing the enormous Frieza Force vessel.

• Jaco spotted Kuriza’s spaceship on his radar, changed course, and called Merus for support.

Broly fought Kuriza in space while Kaiyen and Jaco watched from their damaged spaceship. Kuriza overwhelmed Broly, and the chapter ended as Kuriza began identifying himself as Frieza’s son.

• Kuriza transformed into his true Fourth Form and blasted Broly, but Broly emerged unharmed and fired an energy blast back at him.
• Kuriza punched Broly’s blast off course toward Kaiyen’s spaceship, and Broly intercepted it by charging into the energy sphere and detonating it.

Kaiyen manipulated Broly into believing Jaco was his father and that Kuriza had killed him, triggering Broly's Super Saiyan transformation. Broly tore Kuriza in half, then began roaring in pain while Kuriza remained alive and regretted leaving his home planet.

• Kaiyen used Angelic Power to make Broly believe Jaco was his father, and Jaco played along.

• Luo Tian left Merus with the Ultra Instinct Manual, saying he had memorized it, and went to find Broly and Tights.
• Merus sealed the room and contacted Whis with his Angel Staff, asking about Luo Tian and the manual.
• Whis explained that the manual was a simplified version of Ultra Instinct, and Merus confirmed that it could not teach its true essence.

Whis told the Grand Minister that Luo Tian had cultivated Angelic Power, and the Grand Minister ordered that Luo Tian be taught true Ultra Instinct and guided toward Kusu in Universe 10. The Prophecy Fish predicted a new Angel might surpass the Grand Minister, while Whis wondered whether Luo Tian could become a true Angel within his human lifespan.

• Merus told Whis that Luo Tian had cultivated murky but genuine Angelic Power, and Whis decided to report it to the Grand Minister.
• The Prophecy Fish told Whis that a great Angel would soon be born and might surpass the Grand Minister, then begged Whis not to reveal the prophecy.
