At eight in the morning, Manhattan's bustle reclaimed the streets.

The Mysterio riot, which had lasted only an hour, had come suddenly and ended just as quickly. Shattered shop windows glittered beneath the sunlight, and sirens still echoed in the distance, but the city had already returned to its usual rhythm. No one had lost their life in the brief chaos; only a few overturned cars and several scorched billboards proved that anything had happened here. Mysterio's goal had been clear—he had not wanted destruction, but provocation. And now, he had gotten his wish, only to be brought down by a superhero and make a miserable exit.

On the rooftop of Osborn Tower, Cindy Moon looked out over Manhattan's morning. She brushed aside the slightly messy hair on her forehead and was about to leave when she heard Peter Parker's voice.

"I wouldn't recommend swinging away on webs. The Mysterio situation just ended, and every media outlet is watching this city like sharks smelling blood. If you swing off now, tomorrow's Daily Bugle headline might be—'Female Spider-Man Spotted in New York!' Or worse, 'Spider-Man's True Identity Is Actually a Girl?'"

Cindy turned around and caught the can of coffee tossed her way. She saw Spider-Man hanging upside down beneath the metal framework of the rooftop garden, holding an opened can of coffee and lifting his mask to take a drink.

"I grabbed two cans of coffee from the vending machine in Osborn Tower. You don't mind, do you?"

"It's fine."

With a pop, Cindy pulled open the can. Looking at Peter, she abruptly asked, "Can you drink coffee upside down?"

"What? You can't?"

Then they both laughed.

After a moment of quiet between them, Cindy suddenly asked a question.

"How did you keep going until now?"

"You mean... this suit?"
