Ning Rongrong ran away from the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile School and enrolled at Shrek, insisting that she could make her own decisions rather than live solely as the sect's princess. Her privileged upbringing had provided exceptional cultivation resources, but she initially displayed a temperamental and impulsive side. 22

She became interested in Tang Lan from their first meeting and openly asked whether he felt their Martial Soul Fusion connection. Tang Lan deferred the discussion, while Xiao Wu immediately opposed Rongrong's advances. 22

After purchasing Tang Lan's modified Python Revolver, Rongrong attempted to steal it back and invoked her family's power when confronted. Tang Lan answered her attempted theft with a staged execution using a blank round, forcing her to confront the consequences of her behavior. 26 27
