Tang Lan destroyed the Hong Family and challenged Shrek Academy after capturing and releasing Bei Bei and Xu Sanshi. He fought through Shrek’s strongest defenders, and the arc ended with his Infinite Sword Array piercing Mu En’s dragon form.

• Tang Lan defeated Liu Yandao and the Shrek reinforcements, then killed Qiu Lei and the Hong Family’s leaders when they attacked him.
• Tang Lan killed Hong Tian and the remaining Hong Family Soul Masters, then recruited Hong An and assigned Tan Yao to lead his followers.
• Tang Lan released Bei Bei and Xu Sanshi, who returned to Shrek and reported where he was staying.
• Yan Shaozhe and Cai Meier confronted Tang Lan at Changhong Inn, but he defeated their attacks and severely wounded Cai Meier.

Tang Lan defeated Mu En and ravaged Shrek Academy before taking Meng Hongchen after overwhelming the Sun Moon Empire’s Royal Soul Engineer Academy. He then brought her to the Star Luo Empire, defeated its Nation Protecting Douluo, and faced the empire’s Offerings as the fight continued.

• Tang Lan fought Mu En and Shrek’s defenders, spared the academy after Mu En survived his attack, and warned them not to provoke him again.
• Tang Lan transformed into a young Soul King, forced Meng Hongchen to arrange his enrollment, and defeated Xiao Hongchen and the academy fighters who came to help.
• Tang Lan defeated Jing Hongchen and the Royal Soul Engineer Academy’s strongest fighters, then took Meng Hongchen after she begged him to spare her grandfather.
• Xu Tianran and Kong Deming blamed the Holy Spirit Cult for Tang Lan’s attacks and ordered a purge of Evil Soul Masters, while Tang Lan left Mingdu with Meng Hongchen.
• Tang Lan threatened to slaughter cities unless Meng Hongchen left with him, then challenged the Star Luo Empire in its imperial city and defeated Giant Hammer Douluo and the other Nation Protecting Douluo.
• Tang Lan overwhelmed the Star Luo Empire’s Four Nation Protecting Douluo, then fought the Offerings after Heavenly Star Douluo sealed his Martial Souls.
• Tang Lan escaped Heavenly Star Douluo’s attacks, defeated him, and continued fighting Shattered Star Douluo and Xuanji Douluo as the Star Luo Emperor’s observers watched.

Tang Lan challenged the Star Luo Empire and drew its allies into a gathering confrontation while capturing Xu Jiujiu and Star Cloud Douluo. The Four Great Empires assembled outside the inn, Shrek Academy watched from nearby, and the Holy Spirit Cult mobilized toward the Star Luo Empire.

• Tang Lan defeated Rong Choutian and the Worship Hall’s Titled Douluo, then used an illusion to make them attack one another as he waited for the Holy Spirit Cult.
• Tang Lan refused Zhang Peng’s invitation to join the Holy Spirit Cult, while the Star Luo Empire formed an alliance with the other empires and the Body Sect against the cult.
• Tang Lan captured Princess Xu Jiujiu and Star Cloud Douluo after defeating General Nan Feng and overpowering Star Cloud Douluo in battle.
• Tang Lan fought Sky Sun Douluo and Wang Xian’er, defeating them as Du Busi and Jing Hongchen delayed their attack and awaited reinforcements.
• Tang Lan took Xu Jiujiu and Star Cloud Douluo to an inn, where Star Cloud Douluo stayed with him while Xu Jiujiu remained captive.
• Ye Yulin and Rong Choutian arrived with reinforcements, followed by forces from the Heaven Dou and Dou Ling Empires, while Shrek Academy deployed observers nearby.
• Long Xiaoyao convinced Zhongli Wu to mobilize the Holy Spirit Cult, and Rong Choutian urged the assembled empires to attack Tang Lan together.

Tang Lan survived the Four Great Empires’ assault, gathered new allies, and persuaded Mu En to organize a tournament offering divine inheritances. After Shrek Academy announced the contest and the empires’ forces converged, Tang Lan escaped with Xu Jiujiu and Star Cloud Douluo, then challenged a group of Soul Masters to break his defenses or join him.

• Tang Lan and Long Xiaoyao battled the Four Great Empires and the Holy Spirit Cult until both sides withdrew with heavy casualties, and Tang Lan forced Netherworld Douluo to surrender and follow him.
• Tang Lan returned to Meng Hongchen’s inn with Xu Jiujiu and Star Cloud Douluo, then promised Mu En that he would spare Shrek Academy after Elder Gong’s attack.
• Tang Lan asked Mu En to organize a continent-wide tournament offering divine inheritances to the top three contenders, and Mu En agreed to announce it through Shrek Academy.
• Yan Shaozhe suspected the tournament was a scheme, but Shrek Academy spread the announcement while the Sun Moon Empire’s leaders debated whether it was genuine.
• The Four Great Empires gathered to attack Tang Lan, but he escaped with Xu Jiujiu and Star Cloud Douluo as the Holy Spirit Cult entered the battle.
• Tang Lan challenged nine Soul Masters while suppressing his cultivation, then knocked several of them down as they tried to attack him.
