At the Central Base airfield, a simple and fast transport plane had already taken off.
It was one of the few aircraft remaining at the Central Base.
No one had expected that the battle at the Central Base airfield would damage so many planes.
There were dozens of them. Although none had suffered particularly severe damage, they all needed repairs.
Agent Hand also knew that the Central Base would need to use its aircraft, so for this relatively short trip, she had not chosen a particularly large plane. She was simply riding in a small transport aircraft.
Inside the cramped cabin, Garrett leaned weakly against a seat, all four limbs pierced through. An S.H.I.E.L.D. agent supported him on either side.
Agent Hand sat nearby with a frown. Since she did not yet know the exact situation, she was not worried about the Cold Storage.
They had already contacted Cold Storage from the Central Base.
After learning that Agent Hand would be transferred to the Cold Storage base, the people there had responded, saying that dedicated agents would verify Hand's identity and receive her.
What Agent Hand was worried about was still the current situation of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Unaware that the Golden Legend was doing everything in its power to rescue S.H.I.E.L.D. and wipe out Hydra, Agent Hand was troubled by everything happening now.
What worried her most was that if S.H.I.E.L.D. was currently in a weak position, then the other bases occupied by Hydra would likely be the first targets of a Hydra attack.
At the same time, Hand realized that if S.H.I.E.L.D. was left with only the few bases it currently had, it would still have to face the US Government, which had always regarded S.H.I.E.L.D. with suspicion.
They would certainly try to bring S.H.I.E.L.D. fully under their control.
