Returning to Xandar

Zhang Huan was already sweating slightly from Leo's words.

"Y-You mean that?"

Leo nodded. "This is the boundless universe. What mysteries it holds and what cruel truths exist within it—anything is possible."

"To the outside world, it would be impossible even to imagine what kinds of sights or events exist out there. Reality is far more unpredictable than imagination."

"But I can tell you this with certainty: the madman who wants to destroy half the life in the universe is real. His forces are beyond anything you can imagine, and that power truly exists. Its strength can be called the pinnacle of this universe."

"There are many madmen capable of destroying planets in the universe. If even one of them discovered Earth, it would be a catastrophe for the planet."

Seeing Zhang Huan's expression grow more solemn, Leo patted him on the shoulder.

"Of course, these matters aren't for you to worry about. There are many more capable people on Earth protecting it from harm."

Zhang Huan stared at Leo in astonishment. He had always thought that, while he might not have the best sources of information in the world, he was still among the very few who were best informed.

Yet he had never imagined there could be so many secrets that he had never even heard of.

"If it weren't for those old veterans protecting Earth day after day for a thousand years, the planet would probably have suffered a catastrophe long ago."

Zhang Huan's gaze grew deeper, and his curiosity about Leo intensified.

But Leo's next revelation gave Zhang Huan a tremendous shock.

"However, time has passed, and those who protect Earth's safety have gradually lost the ability to protect it as the years went by. Without them, who knows what kind of disaster Earth might face!!"
