Final Thoughts

It was finally finished. This was the first book I had ever written to completion, and everyone finally no longer had to wait for updates every night.

It was my first time writing an invincible protagonist story, and my first time writing a system story.

Invincible protagonist stories were hard to write. Jiang Li was also the sort who could not bear to see others suffer, which made it even harder. Still, I was quite satisfied with how it turned out.

Perhaps everyone felt that Jiang Li did not seem like the strongest, lacking the domineering aura a strongest person ought to have, but I was very satisfied with his characterization.

Even now, I was not afraid of everyone laughing at me. This book had purely been an idea I came up with on the spur of the moment, and I never had an outline. It was only after reaching Ming Zhong World and seeing the Dao Ancestor Immortal Corpse that I had a vague outline. Only when Mount Sumeru Old Buddha became immortal did I have a complete outline.

At first, I had planned to write the protagonist cultivating Qi to several thousand or even tens of thousands of levels, or make Qi cultivation about cultivating Primordial Purple Qi or something similar. But then I thought about it: that would inevitably lead to some blind fool in the Foundation Establishment Realm or Golden Core Stage mocking the protagonist, only to get slapped in the face afterward.

So I simply raised the protagonist's cultivation to the very peak. Everyone knew he was strong, so those kinds of plots would not appear. No enemy, no Immortal World—none of it was a problem, and it was more satisfying to write.
