Shu Mountain faced a coordinated assault while Lingxu fought the Demon Kings in Cangzhou, and both battles ended in devastation. After Lingxu’s sacrifice failed to seal the Outer Realm Demons, Di Nüfeng tried to save the badly wounded Li Xuanxiao from Happy Old Man.

• Lin Wanqing recovered her past-life memories, defeated a Body Integration Realm powerhouse, and collapsed, while Lu Ziyin destroyed Cangcheng’s body and Dao Domain before dying from his wounds.
• Lingxu fought the Demon Kings in Cangzhou as Happy Old Man trapped his missing swords in a time loop, and Crimson Firmament Demon King sacrificed the Eastern Wasteland to reach the Mahayana Stage.
• The allied forces attacked Shu Mountain, breaking its formations, killing defenders, and driving the surviving Shushan Disciples toward the Sword Tomb as the Demon Suppressing Pagoda was destroyed.
• Lingxu returned to Shu Mountain, rescued Wushangzi, and fought the invaders, but the coffin released Outer Realm Devil qi and Li Xuanxiao urged him to evacuate the survivors.
• Lingxu sacrificed his body to burn the demons and seal the coffin, but Happy Old Man returned and Purple Firmament Divine Lightning severed Lingxu’s fire, allowing the demons to escape.
• Di Nüfeng found Li Xuanxiao alive in the ruins and tried to carry him away, but Happy Old Man attacked her and also targeted Shangguan Suiyun and Feng Liuli.

Li Xuanxiao recovered the Myriad Souls Banner and pursued revenge against the factions that destroyed Shu Mountain, while Di Nüfeng followed him and grew wary of his changes. In Jiangnan, he set rival forces against one another over a staged treasure discovery as wanted posters bearing his face appeared.

• Li Xuanxiao awakened at Heavenly Fiend Hall, then traveled through a devastated Central Continent and found the Myriad Souls Banner missing from Divine Grass Mountain.
• Li Xuanxiao returned to Shu Mountain, learned that its disciples’ graves had been erected, and began punishing demons and factions while using the Myriad Souls Banner.
• At Xiangshan Academy, Li Xuanxiao grew close to Bai Jing, but Wang Tingzhi erased her memories and Lan Qing killed Li Xuanxiao’s family, and Bai Jing later attacked the academy and Li Xuanxiao reclaimed the banner from her.
• Li Xuanxiao reunited with Di Nüfeng and led her to destroy Qingcheng Temple and Zhu Rong’s sect, declaring that he would repay Shu Mountain’s destruction in kind.
• Li Xuanxiao spared a young disciple at Zhu Rong’s ruined gate, but later found that the boy had died, and he fused the banner’s power into an incomplete dark-red golden core and continued toward Jiangnan.
• In Jiangnan, Li Xuanxiao killed a Catfish Demon and used a treasure map to draw rival factions to Shu Mountain’s buried branch vault, where the Carp Demon General seized the treasure and disappeared.
• Li Xuanxiao secretly prepared the treasure materials as a Netherworld-energy trap while the Old Flood Dragon and Jiangnan factions converged on them.
• Li Xuanxiao reached Jiangnan and saw wanted posters bearing his face.

Li Xuanxiao pursued his Self Corpse to Yellow Sand City, where he seized the Burial Dust Samsara Mirror and broke through to Spirit Transformation amid the Mirror God’s tribulation. After rescuing Nangong Wan and discovering Di Nüfeng was dying from Natal Snake Poison, he set out with her to find the rare antidote ingredient as Mo Zi pursued them.

• The mausoleum treasure exploded, and Li Xuanxiao defeated the Old Guard Captain before his hidden self reclaimed the Myriad Souls Banner and learned he was the Corpse.
• Li Xuanxiao traveled to Yellow Sand City, where Huang Chengan exposed his presence and his Self Corpse arrived carrying the Myriad Souls Banner.
• Li Xuanxiao and his Self Corpse fought Huang Chengan, then escaped the sealed city with Nangong Wan and joined Xiao Qing in seeking the moving shrine.
• Li Xuanxiao took the Burial Dust Samsara Mirror as the Mirror Spirit revealed its plan to become immortal, and the ensuing tribulation let Li Xuanxiao reach Spirit Transformation.
• Li Xuanxiao killed Huang Chengan, then later rescued Nangong Wan when she killed Sun Shoucai and her family turned against her.
• Li Xuanxiao discovered that Di Nüfeng was afflicted with Natal Snake Poison and promised to find the scarce ingredients needed to cure her.
• After an ambush aboard a merchant vessel, Li Xuanxiao identified Extreme Toad Poison as the last missing ingredient and departed with Di Nüfeng for the northern frozen lands.
• Gou Shengzi ordered Mo Zi to pursue Li Xuanxiao and bring back his corpse.

Li Xuanxiao searched the Extreme Cold Secret Realm for the Ice Poison Toad and secured it after surviving battles with demons and cultivators. He reunited with Di Nüfeng and brought her to the Xueyin Chamber of Commerce, where he began seeking the means to refine an antidote.

• Li Xuanxiao disguised himself as Zhang Haoran, befriended Cao Changjing, and traveled with him to Cangzhou, where they found demons occupying the region and alchemists imprisoned by Nine Skeletons Master.
• Li Xuanxiao rescued Cao Changjing and the captured alchemists, then entered the Extreme Cold Secret Realm while Di Nüfeng waited outside as her poison worsened.
• Li Xuanxiao joined Caishen, Zhang Zi, Wang Hu, and Zhou Liudian, fought Wang Hu’s group, and killed the men who tried to capture Caishen.
• Li Xuanxiao and Caishen crossed the frozen realm, found the Ice Poison Toad King, and trapped it in a cauldron despite its freezing attacks and Mo Zi’s interference.
• Li Xuanxiao fought cultivators after emerging from the secret realm, then returned to Di Nüfeng and rescued her from Ye Liang’s companions.
• Li Xuanxiao, Di Nüfeng, and Cao Changjing traveled to the Xueyin Chamber of Commerce, where Caishen agreed to provide supplies for an antidote.
• At Miao Zhishun’s banquet, Li Xuanxiao offered to refine pills and entered the Chamber’s Alchemy Room to test its furnace by making Qi-Nourishing Pills.
