Background / History

The Elephant King ruled the Elephant King Domain, an Abyssal Domain in which Humans coexisted with Demons and Monsters. His Human bloodline allowed him to cultivate both Human and Demon/Monster methods, while his formidable Savage Elephant Overlord Body deterred neighboring domains. He expelled Ghosts, Ghouls, and Strange Phenomena from his territory, making it unusual among surrounding Abyssal Domains. 187

He built a rigid class system: powerful Demons and Monsters formed the upper class; second-rate Demons and Monsters and Human Blood Master families formed the middle class; ordinary Humans and unintelligent Demons and Monsters formed the lower class. Lower-class beings could be oppressed by those above them, though large-scale massacres of Humans drew punishment. 187

The Elephant King used his half-Human identity to recruit and control Human Martial Artists. By offering Humans a route to higher status through becoming Blood Masters, he redirected potential resistance into service to his domain. The resulting concentration of Blood Master-level strength made his domain exceptionally difficult for rivals to challenge. 188

At the border of the Thousand Ghost Domain, he demanded eighty percent of a secret realm's profits from Mei Gui. When she resisted, he overwhelmed her physically, escalated his demand to the entire secret realm and the Thousand Ghost Domain, and initiated war. 197

Mei Gui's secret realm was a trap. Its pure Spiritual Energy weakened the Elephant King's demonic cultivation and the demonic-energy-dependent portions of his modified Overlord Body. While trapped, he tasked his Blood Masters with locating another spatial exit, even promising the Savage Elephant Overlord Body as a reward. 206

Jiang Yuan challenged him within the secret realm after acquiring the Rank 2 Golden Crow Bone. Despite the environmental suppression and Jiang Yuan's True Sun Fire, the Elephant King fought on in his Giant Spirit God form. Jiang Yuan ultimately killed him with the Five Elements Nirvana Annihilation Great Array, annihilating his Primordial Spirit and vitality. 211 212

Jiang Yuan later used a Puppet Replacement Talisman on the Elephant King's corpse. The replacement preserved the King's appearance, aura, and temperament closely enough to deceive his domain, although remnants of the Elephant King's cellular soul-force continued to impose his identity and ambition upon Jiang Yuan. 213 214

Appearance

The Elephant King possessed the massive frame and prominent ears of an elephant-like being, paired with the handsome face of a Human man. His physical presence and Qi and Blood were so oppressive that Mei Gui compared him to a Great Sun of flesh and blood. 197

  • Giant-bodied, with ears large enough to visibly catch the wind. 197
  • Usually appeared as a handsome Human-faced man despite his nonhuman traits. 197
  • Could compress his enormous body to an ordinary Human size without diminishing his aura. 197
  • Transformed into an Elephant-Eared Giant / Giant Spirit God in battle. 211 212
  • His muscles were described as harder than steel when he prepared for combat. 211

Personality

The Elephant King was domineering, direct, and contemptuous of defiance. His negotiation with Mei Gui quickly became a demand backed by violence; after forcing her to yield, he sought to seize both the secret realm and her entire domain. 197

He was also politically calculating. Rather than exterminating or openly enslaving Humans, he created limited upward mobility through the Blood Master system, gaining the loyalty and military service of the Human Race's strongest members while preventing organized resistance. 188

Though arrogant, he understood the value of pre-era Human inheritances and resources. His pursuit of the secret realm was motivated by the bottleneck in his physical cultivation and the possibility that it contained materials for advancing the Savage Elephant Overlord Body. 206

Abilities & Skills

Savage Elephant Overlord Body

The Elephant King's principal physical cultivation method was a modified form of a pre-era Human body-refinement inheritance. It gave him unmatched physical strength among nearby Abyssal Domain lords. 187 206

  • Produced overwhelming Qi and Blood pressure capable of making a Nirvana-level Ghost King uncomfortable. 197
  • Allowed him to overpower Mei Gui in close combat and seize her by the neck before either side's subordinates could react. 197
  • Enabled a Giant Spirit God transformation during his battle with Jiang Yuan. 211
  • Required substantial body-tempering resources, which he accumulated in his treasury. 206 217
  • Incorporated demonic energy as a substitute for Martial Artist resources, leaving it vulnerable to pure Spiritual Energy. 206 211

Demon and Monster Cultivation

The Elephant King cultivated a Demon and Monster method alongside his Human-derived physical cultivation. It was the core around which his other powers revolved. 206

  • Supported his status as a Nirvana-level Abyssal Domain lord. 187
  • Was severely weakened in the secret realm, where pure Spiritual Energy diluted demonic energy. 206
  • Contributed to the vulnerability that Jiang Yuan exploited during their final battle. 210 212

Primordial Spirit Cultivation

The Elephant King possessed a Primordial Spirit training method acquired by chance and had opened his Niwan Palace. 200 206

  • Demonstrated attainments sufficient to notice Jiang Yuan observing him through the Child Technique. 200
  • Had not yet cultivated a true Primordial Spirit, despite opening the Niwan Palace. 206
  • Could not match Jiang Yuan's Venerable-realm peak Primordial Spirit cultivation during their battle. 212

Spatial Passage Creation

The Elephant King could open stable spatial passages, including the route into the contested secret realm. 206

  • Led selected Blood Masters, Great Abnormalities, and Demons and Monsters into the secret realm. 205 206
  • Could not escape once Mei Gui's trap closed the passage; he lacked proficiency in formations and the Dao of Space. 215

Blood Master System

The Elephant King organized the Human Race of his domain into a force centered on Blood Masters. 188

  • Used his Human bloodline and promises of social advancement to recruit Human Martial Artists. 188
  • Supplied Ghost and Ghoul essence for Human breakthroughs into Blood Master status. 217
  • Commanded enough Blood Masters that their Grandmaster-level force could overwhelm Ghosts and Ghouls in war. 197
  • Was unable to cultivate the Blood Force method himself, being blocked at the Hua Jin Heavenly Gate. 206

  • Mei Gui — Rival lord of the Thousand Ghost Domain; their dispute over a secret realm escalated into war, and Mei Gui later trapped him inside that realm. 197 206
  • Blood Masters — Human Grandmaster-level forces cultivated and controlled through the domain's social-mobility system; they formed a central part of his military power. 188 200
  • Elephant King's two sons — His descendants and the only known cultivators of the Savage Elephant Overlord Body besides himself; both were sent away to govern cities and temper themselves. 206 217
  • Apu — A subordinate within the Elephant King's palace who later became a close confidant under Jiang Yuan's impersonation. 217
