Xu Jie could sense tiny points of light on his martial soul being drawn by Qian Qin's martial soul. The pull was not strong; if he wanted, he could sever that faint connection at any time.

"There are two Underground Chambers that were newly built during the last Beast Tide. They're absolutely sealed and safe," Dugu Lu said after thinking for a moment.
"Good, then we'll use those." Xu Jie nodded and looked at Qian Qin. "Aunt Qian, can you come with me to an Underground Chamber? I might be able to solve the flaw in your martial soul."
Qian Qin stroked Qian Ran's little head and hesitated for a moment before slowly saying, "All right."
"Come on, Qian Ran can come with us!" Xu Jie saw Qian Qin's nervousness and said with a smile.
As he spoke, he raised his hand and patted Dugu Lu's shoulder. "Come on, Lu. Lead the way."
With a twist of his body, Dugu Lu shook off Xu Jie's right hand from his shoulder. He picked up an oil lamp and led the three of them toward the Lonely Cloud Merchant Association's Underground Chambers.
