That was the World Honored One's first reaction upon hearing True Lord Zhifa Chiyuan's proposal. Yet the next moment, he realized who stood before him.
True Lord Zhifa Chiyuan was an old True Lord from the Golden Age. Though he cultivated the Dharma Power Dao, he had often listened to teachings under Si Sui. Later Dao Lords such as Cang Hao, Sword Lord, and even Chu Sheng had discussed the Dao with him before Attaining Enlightenment. He was the most ancient surviving Great True Lord of the ancient methods.
But that was nothing.
More importantly, his character had not diminished in the slightest despite the passage of endless years. His ever-burning [True Dharma Body] was proof enough of everything.
He never lied.
Indeed, as soon as his words fell, visible Buddha Light drifted from his body—the mark of one who had cultivated the [Great Vehicle Right Enlightenment Fundamental Sutra].
Once one cultivated this cultivation method, one became a Buddhist Cultivator from then on.
In other words, if the World Honored One wished it at this very moment, he could directly convert True Lord Zhifa Chiyuan and extract his Sea of Consciousness for his own use!
Had that been all, it would have been one thing.
What truly made the other Dao Lords change expression was Dao Tianqi, standing at the forefront. His gaze remained calm as he softly spoke after True Lord Zhifa Chiyuan:
"Add me as well, Senior Brother Wanbao."
"If Senior Zhifa is not enough, if the ancient-method True Lords of the Netherworld are not enough, then add me too. If Senior Brother eats me, can that stop all this?"
As his words fell, Buddha Light suddenly appeared.
Buddha Light also emerged in Dao Tianqi's eyes at that moment, about to connect with the World
