"Enough. Get up."
Lu Yang smiled faintly and gestured. "Tell me about the Immortal Path. How did you determine that it would open within the next ten thousand years?"
He had long since searched Tai's soul, yet the other party's memories on this matter were exceedingly vague, as though they had appeared out of thin air, with no cause or origin whatsoever. When he tried to deduce it himself, he gained nothing, as if the so-called Immortal Path were merely an illusion and everything was nothing more than his hallucination.
This was clearly not right.
"Reporting to the sect master, the specific time was obtained through Heavenly Revelation."
Tai bowed. "After we Imperial Sovereigns attain enlightenment, an inexplicable realization arises within us, informing us of the time the Immortal Path will open, as though someone were transmitting their voice to us."
"Oh? Such a thing happened?"
Lu Yang's brows lifted slightly, his expression turning somewhat strange. Breaking through Foundation Establishment Perfection lets one sense it in their heart and learn, for no reason at all, when the Immortal Path will open.
Why does this sound a little like a sect secret realm?
Some of the smaller sects in Immortal Pivot loved pulling this sort of thing.
A sect ruled over a region, and everyone under its domain became potential candidates for its secret realm. Whenever someone's aptitude met the standard, they would immediately be drawn into the secret realm.
After being screened by the secret realm, those who met the entry requirements would be taken in by the sect and become fresh blood for it. This was one of the ways small sects cultivated disciples. However, the process was far too flashy, costly, and inefficient, so only small sects used it.
At this thought, Lu Yang grew even more astonished.
