• Lu Yang refined and promoted Carefree Talismans, whose rising price created the Image of Money and drew the attention of Immortal Lords.
• Lu Yang defeated Immortal Lord Qing Yang, restored Suo Huan, Empress Xiao, and True Person Demon-Sweeping, then accepted leadership of the alliance.

• Lu Yang explored the Sea of Suffering, crossed the threshold of Seek Dao, and led the Heretical Path Alliance to the upper layers of Celestial Court.
• Lu Yang killed Jade Toad Immortal Lord, took her knowledge, and gathered the Six Qi of Celestial Court to prepare for Empty Attainment.
• Si Sui tricked Lu Yang into weaving the Six Qi Images, recovered his Dao Fruit, and escaped as his return threatened Celestial Court.
• Immortal Venerable Greater Yin went to the Sea of Suffering to stop Si Sui, while Lu Yang guarded the Ninth Layer and learned that Si Sui was only a remnant of Divine Intent.

• Lu Yang followed the Karma of his blood to the Taihuang Realm, where Imperial Sovereign Yi used it to save his realm from a falling Jietian fragment.
• Lu Yang met Tai, learned that the Immortal Path led into the Shadow Region, and accepted Tai as a disciple before concealing himself among the ten Imperial Sovereigns entering the path.
• Lu Yang defeated Long Tu and entered the Human World trial, where he tempered his Dao Heart and fought Sky Soaring Afterimage.
• Lu Yang and Sky Soaring Afterimage joined forces against the World Honored One’s avatar, while Si Sui’s remnant helped Lu Yang seize the trial’s opportunity.

The struggle left Hongyun moving toward Covered Lamp Fire, Sky Soaring locked in a repeating battle with Gangxing Budao True Lord, and Tian Qiu beginning Golden Seeking overseas.

• Lu Yang and Mu Changsheng trapped Sky Soaring with the Primordial Dao Abomination, but Mu Changsheng ultimately refined Sky Soaring’s divine-soul thoughts and revealed his Late Golden Core cultivation.
• Lu Yang’s scheme led the Pure Land to learn that Dragon-Serpent Shadow Bodhisattva was Sky Soaring’s avatar, and the Bodhisattvas moved against him.
