• Ao Qing traveled to the Northwest Continent, subdued the Misty Cloud Sect after Yun Shan’s failed attack, and ordered it to expand its influence while quietly monitoring the Xiao Clan.
• Ao Qing directed Yun Leng to search the Tagor Desert for a Heavenly Flame, then arrived when Yun Leng and Hai Bodong found the Green Lotus Core Flame and Medusa confronted them.

Nalan Yanran broke her engagement to Xiao Yan, but the confrontation at the Xiao Clan escalated until a Gu Clan Dou Saint trapped Zi Yan in a deadly illusion as Ao Qing rushed to help.

• Xiao Zhan traded the Xiao Clan’s Ancient Jade for a pill that restored Xiao Yan’s cultivation, and Xiao Yan accepted Yao Chen as his master.
• Ao Qing brought the Ancient Jade to the Ancient Void Dragon Clan, where the elders welcomed Zi Yan as the likely princess and agreed to keep the jade safe.

• Ao Qing fought the Gu Clan elder over Zi Yan, and the arrival of Gu Yuan and Zhu Qian ended the confrontation without further violence.
