While Ao Qing cultivated, Soul Hall targeted the Misty Cloud Sect and Jia Nan Academy, but Yao Chen and Heavenly Flame Venerable defeated its attackers.

• Ao Qing found the Purification Lotus Demon Saint’s remnant soul, restored it with a Ninth Grade Soul Returning Pill, and gained the Saint’s service in exchange for a chance to reach the Dou God realm.
• Ao Qing returned to Jia Nan Academy with Aru Na and Xiao Yi Xian, where Medusa accepted Xiao Yi Xian as her disciple and Hai Bodong traded a Demon Fire Remnant Map for help with Ya Fei.
• Ao Qing admitted Xiao Yan to Jia Nan Academy on the condition that he work in the Alchemy Hall, and Yao Chen agreed to join after Ao Qing promised to restore his body.
• Ao Qing revived Yao Chen in a refined body, and the Purification Lotus Demon Saint adopted Ya Fei after his bloodline cleared her meridians and raised her cultivation to Dou Shi.
• While Ao Qing cultivated, Hu Fa Ao tried to gather Yun Shan’s soul at the Misty Cloud Sect, but Heavenly Flame Venerable killed him and later destroyed Old Man Mu Gu’s soul fragment.
• Hun Miesheng sent Blood River and Old Man Mu Gu to attack Jia Nan Academy, where Yao Chen fought them alongside Heavenly Flame Venerable.
• Yao Chen killed Blood River and then destroyed Old Man Mu Gu’s body and soul while Ao Qing sensed the battle but chose not to intervene.

Yao Chen brought Starfall Pavilion into Jia Nan Academy, and Ao Qing defeated Soul Hall forces that attacked the pavilion. As the Soul Clan moved against the ancient clans, Ao Qing forged an alliance with Gu Yuan and revived the Purification Lotus Demon Saint, then drove Soul Hall from Central Continent.

• Ao Qing traveled to Central Continent with Yao Chen, Xiao Yi Xian, and Aru Na, where Yao Chen reunited with Feng Xian and announced Starfall Pavilion would join Jia Nan Academy.
• Soul Hall attacked Starfall Pavilion, but Ao Qing killed Bone Nether Saint and the Great Heavenly Sovereign before forcing Hun Miesheng to flee.
• Zi Yan brought Jia Nan Academy to Starfall Pavilion, established its disciples and elders within the academy, and formed a Battle Hall under Feng Xian and Heavenly Flame Venerable.
• Xiao Yan encountered Mang Tianchi in the Void Thunder Pool, and Zi Yan and the Ancient Void Dragon elders discovered the intruder and made him serve Jia Nan Academy under Zi Yan for ten years.
• Hun Tiandi sent Nihility Devouring Flame to destroy the Ling and Shi Clans, prompting Gu Yuan to seek an alliance with the Ancient Void Dragon Clan after the other human clans refused to join him.
• Gu Yuan and Ao Qing agreed to cooperate against the Soul Clan, while Gu Xun'er went to Jia Nan Academy and Ao Qing prepared to enter the Heavenly Tomb.
• Ao Qing revived the Purification Lotus Demon Saint in a body made from an Ancient Void Dragon, peak-expert Essence Blood, and Life Dragon Flame.
• Ao Qing destroyed Soul Hall branches and killed their experts across Central Continent, and Hun Tiandi ordered the remaining Soul Hall members to return to the clan.

Ao Qing seized the Yao Clan’s Ancient Jade and brought the surviving clan to Jia Nan Academy as the Soul Clan gathered more jades and clashed with the other ancient clans. The arc ended with Zi Yan’s party trapped in a beast tide after Hun Yu and the Soul Hall abandoned the allied force.

• Ao Qing advanced to Seven-Star Dou Saint, then accompanied Purification Lotus Demon Saint into the Demon Fire Space, where he killed Xiao Chen and watched the Purifying Demonic Lotus Flame trap the gathered experts.
• Purification Lotus Demon Saint destroyed the Refining Heaven Great Formation and restrained the Purifying Demonic Lotus Flame, while Ao Qing sacrificed the Pill Tower Old Ancestor to refine a Ninth Grade Golden Core.
• Ao Qing entered the Heavenly Tomb with Xiao Yan, where Xiao Xuan transferred the Xiao Clan bloodline to Xiao Yan and gave Ao Qing the Soul of Heavenly Tomb’s Soul Origin.

Zi Yan overcame the Bodhi Ancient Tree’s trials and became a Dou Saint, while Ao Qing helped Medusa restore Yao Ming and traded with Hun Tiandi. As the Soul Clan gathered the Ancient Jades and Nihility Devouring Flame reached the Emperor Realm Soul, Ao Qing advanced and Huang Wuji accepted a pact to help locate Tou She Ancient God’s Cave Mansion.

• Zi Yan cleansed the Bodhi Ancient Tree’s corruption with Bodhi Seeds, passed its trials, and broke through to the Dou Saint realm with Ao Qing’s help.
• Ao Qing fought the Bodhi Ancient Tree, then traveled with Medusa to free Yao Ming, who returned to defeat Yao Tianxiao with her support.
• Ao Qing traded the Yao Clan’s Ancient Jade to Hun Tiandi for the Origin of Heavenly Dao inside Nihility Devouring Flame.
• Huang Tian attacked the Nine Serene Earth Python Clan over Qing Lin, but Zhu Li and Yao Ye killed him before confronting Huang Wuji.
