The practice match between the two teams was incredibly lively. Watching from the sidelines, Kouha never stopped exclaiming in amazement. Watching from up in the second-floor stands had been nowhere near as thrilling as seeing it from this close.
"Wow, everyone's really amazing."
With her arms folded over her chest, Kouha watched the match intently and sighed in admiration.
"Of course. Everyone's aiming for Nationals this year, so they're all working really hard."
Hearing Kouha's words, Hitoka smiled and told her about the Volleyball Club's goal.
"Nationals? That's incredible. The basketball team couldn't even make it through the IH preliminaries."
Karasuno's basketball team had always been rather weak. Kouha had only become its manager because a friend who was another manager had asked her to make up the numbers. She did not attend their club activities every day, either. Though everyone over there trained hard as well, the atmosphere was still far behind that of the Volleyball Club.
The match on the court soon ended as well. After Coach Ukai finished his talk, he told everyone to rest for a while before beginning individual training. Kouha, who had come to observe, followed the two managers around and handed out water bottles and towels.

"Ha ha, it suddenly feels like we've got another manager."

"Whoa! It feels like we're some powerhouse school now!"
After taking the towels and water bottles Kouha handed them, everyone began chatting. Thanks to the fireworks festival, Kouha had remembered everyone's names by now. Whenever someone thanked her, she would smile and wave it off. After Nishinoya mentioned having three managers, Tanaka and Hinata eagerly joined in on the teasing.
