Fang Zheng had no idea what was happening aboard the Archangel, nor was he interested in finding out, because he was currently engaged in the most important task he had undertaken since arriving in this world.
Destroying the Reapers.
This did not simply mean eliminating the invading Reapers. It meant, literally, wiping out all those countless trillions of Reapers in one fell swoop.
That would not be easy.
Shepard had already left Earth with the others to seek support from the other races in the Citadel, but things were not going well. Neither the Salarians nor the Turians could even save themselves, while the Asari were worse off. They had originally planned to seal off their star system, only to be driven straight back to their home turf by a single Reaper assault. Now they could barely hold onto their homeworld!
Fang Zheng could only laugh at that.
Honestly, Fang Zheng felt that the Asari were very much like the Star Spirits. They had long histories, powerful individuals, and impossible psychic abilities. Every last one of them thought their race was the oldest, the most unique, the greatest, and feared no one.
Then Aiur had been conquered by the Swarm.
It looked like this world's Asari homeworld would be following in its footsteps. The only question was whether they would have a chance to return home and reclaim their legacy... All right, wrong crossover.
Besides that, several other races, such as the Quarians and Vorcha, were also in miserable shape. The Quarians were doing slightly better. After resolving the previous server issue, they and the Geth had not exactly become friends, but they had at least developed some degree of understanding.
