As the match was about to begin, the mage serving as host grew excited as well.
"First to enter, representing the rising Magical Girl faction—Chloe von Einzbern!"
Following the host's introduction, Little Black flipped onto the arena. Almost immediately, thunderous cheers and applause erupted from all around. Little Black clearly loved it too. She had always been someone who thrived in a crowd, and now she happily skipped around the arena, waving at the spectators.
As the tournament progressed, the Magical Girls Fang Zheng had brought became quite popular at the White Tower. After all, they were only children in their early teens—innocent, lively, pure, and adorable. Unless a mage had an utterly twisted personality, most of them liked the girls to some extent.
In fact, the Magical Girls had each gained their own supporters within the White Tower. Fang Zheng had asked around when he had nothing better to do. Of the five Magical Girls, aside from Akemi Homura, who had been eliminated early and had not left much of an impression on the mages, the other girls all had their own fan clubs.
Most mages in the White Tower were fairly old, after all. At the very least, they were adults, while Illya, Nanoha, and Sakura were only eleven or twelve. So the other mages either saw them as little sisters, daughters, or granddaughters. They were adored by everyone.
On top of that, the girls themselves were all obedient, adorable, and polite. Along the way, whether it was the eliminated Sakura, Fate, and Illya, or the advancing Nanoha and Little Black, they had all been very well liked.
Cute was justice, after all.
