With a flash of light, the girls appeared in a dim metal corridor the next moment.

Looking at the cold metal corridor before her, Kozue let out an involuntary groan and hid behind Red Ponytail. Yachiyo and Kyoko tightened their grips on their weapons and warily looked around. Only Akemi Homura stood behind the group as usual, saying nothing.
"Do you really need to be this nervous?"
Seeing the tense, uneasy expressions on the girls behind her, Red Ponytail raised an eyebrow in confusion. Even if the Space Station they were currently in really was the setting of some Western space horror movie, the Magical Girls were more than capable of dealing with whatever threats were inside. That was why Red Ponytail had not brought Fate and Nanoha. It was not that she feared they could not win, but that they might get excited and blast a hole straight through the entire Space Station...
By comparison, these Magical Girls from the Magical Girl world, most of whom used melee weapons, were much safer. At least Red Ponytail did not have to worry about them using Divine Thunder Strike and punching a hole straight through the Space Station...
Even so, Red Ponytail still did not think anything from those Western space horror films could pose much of a threat to the Magical Girls. They were not like those Marine Corps soldiers in movies, who became useless once they ran out of bullets. Every one of these Magical Girls possessed overwhelming combat power, and as beings blessed by the gods, they were basically Paladins with divine power. Even if they faced not monsters like aliens but ghostlike creatures, they should still be able to dispose of them with ease.
Not to mention, these Magical Girls were hardly inexperienced rookies...
