The road leading to Stormveil Castle was heavily guarded. At first, Fang Zheng had wanted to have a nice chat with them and explain that he meant no harm—but the crossbow bolts and arrows flying at him immediately changed his mind.

After slaughtering his way through Stormveil Castle's outer defenses and passing through the tunnel, Fang Zheng led the jellyfish toward the ruined castle before him. Though it looked mostly intact on the surface, the battered gates and pockmarked walls made it clear that the castle had previously endured a brutal war.
However, just as Fang Zheng was about to enter the gate, a voice suddenly rang out.
"Tarnished one..."
Fang Zheng raised his head and looked toward the source of the voice. At the top of a nearby tower, a towering giant clad in a cloak, with horns on its head and a staff in hand, appeared out of thin air. It stared at Fang Zheng and slowly spoke.
"Toyed with by the flame of foolish ambition, you seek to obtain the Elden Ring? Then..."
"Bang!!"
Before it could finish, Fang Zheng raised the short blade in his left hand and pulled the trigger. With the gunshot, the strange creature leaped aside, dodging Fang Zheng's attack, then descended from the sky and landed before him. It had only just raised its head when the flaming Pitch Black Greatsword came crashing down upon it!
