Background

Mu Bai was a failed online novelist from Earth and an orphan in his previous life. His soul transmigrated into the eldest son of the Carefree Prince eighteen years before the story begins. He publicly cultivated the image of an idle, pleasure-seeking young master, avoiding both study and martial training while concealing his true ability. 1 3

As a child, he was declared a once-in-ten-thousand-years martial prodigy by a fortune-telling Daoist, who gave him the Heavenly Origin Technique. Mu Bai reached the Houtian Limit at fifteen but spent the following three years unable to breach the Innate barrier. His frustration eventually gave way to a more relaxed outlook, though he continued contemplating the nature of Martial Dao in private. 3
