In Stone Desert City, he gathered allies and Qing Lin, and ended the confrontation with Gu He when Wind Walker and Yan Shi refused to help him seize the flame.

• Nalan Ye helped Yun Yun retrieve the Amethyst Spirit Crystal, killed the Little Lion King, and escaped the Amethyst Winged Lion King before Yun Yun defeated it outside Wu Si City.

Nalan Ye, Yun Yun, and Qing Lin found the Azure Lotus Pedestal beneath the desert, where Xiao Yan confronted them over the treasure.

• Nalan Ye revealed Qing Lin could sense Medusa nearby, and the Nalan Family prepared an ambush to seize the Azure Lotus Core Flame.
• Nalan Ye was named commander as the Nalan forces encircled Medusa, who seized the flame and fought off the army before escaping toward the desert.
• Yun Yun ambushed the wounded Medusa, but a large Snake-People army arrived and battled the Nalan Family and Anbei Cavalry.
