Nalan Ye returned to Gama City, defeated Medusa in a soul battle, and prepared an alliance between the Gamma Empire and the Snake-People Tribe. Xiao Yan lost to Nalan Yanran, then left Gama City to train, while Nalan Ye gained approval to lead the mission to Yue Mei.

• Yue Mei entered the Land of Inheritance and began Ashes’s inheritance baptism as Ashes mourned Cai Lin and urged the queens to protect their people.
• Nalan Ye’s triumphant procession reached Gama City, where he was welcomed as a hero and proposed preparations for war after hearing that Snake-People had been sighted in Chuyun.
• Medusa confronted Nalan Ye in a dream and tried to seize his body, but he persuaded her to accept his Soul Imprint by promising to help the Snake-People Tribe defeat its enemies and reclaim its ancestral homeland.
• Nalan Ye stopped Nalan Family youths from provoking Xiao Yan, then gave Nalan Yanran Yun Yun’s scroll as she reported Snake-People activity in Chuyun.
• Xiao Yan challenged Nalan Yanran, lost their fight, and vowed to defeat her in three years before leaving Gama City that night to train in the Distant Domain.

Nalan Ye arranged a secret alliance with the Snake-People Tribe and staged his apparent death to draw the Chuyun Empire into war. As the Chuyun forces invaded Gamma, Nalan Ye revealed the deception and turned the Snake-People against their former allies, leaving the assault on Anyuan City underway.

• Nalan Ye gained approval for his plan to ally with the Snake-People Tribe, was crowned Heir Apparent, and left Gama City with a small force before secretly traveling to the Snake-People Holy City.
• Nalan Ye met with Cai Lin and Yue Mei, arranged for the Snake-People to stage an attack at Fox Pass, and ordered Yue Mei to ambush the force he would lead out.
• Nalan Ye led troops out of Fox Pass and disappeared after the Snake-People returned his battle banner, prompting Nalan Xu and the Gamma Empire to believe he had died.
• Xiao Yan learned that Nalan Ye and several officers had been killed, joined the campaign against the Snake-People, and met Nalan Yanran at Rike City.
• As Gamma and Chuyun fought, Nalan Ye received news of the invasion and revealed the secret alliance to the Chuyun envoy, who attacked him rather than surrendering.
• Yue Mei sent the Snake-People army toward the Chuyun border, and Wu Yan accepted Nalan Ye's offer to surrender with the delegation.

Nalan Ye joined the Snake-People campaign against the Chu Yun Rebels and helped lead them across the Qi River, while the Gamma Empire faced turmoil at home. The arc ended with the rebels unleashing a flood and landing a vast force against Qi Lin’s outnumbered defenders.

• Yan Ci killed Lin Qu and captured Anyuan City, while the Snake-People Tribe massed troops on Chuyun’s frontier and learned the Toxic Sect had wiped out Yan Leng’s force at Tiantu City.
• Qing Yue and Long Xi’s battle devastated Gama City as Lu Man and Bai Ya abducted the real Qing Lin and left a fake in her place.
• An Ke killed his brothers, joined forces with Xie Shan and Wu Ya, and founded the Morning Dawn Empire, while the Chuyun Rebels attacked the Gamma Empire.
• Nalan Ye learned Qing Lin had apparently died and that Mu Tie’s forces had been routed, so he and Little Fairy Doctor left Tiantu City to aid the Gamma Empire.
• Luo Heng tried to win the Snake-People Tribe for the Morning Dawn Empire, but Yue Mei rejected his offer, had him executed, and sent Qi Lin with reinforcements to help the Gamma Empire.
• Nalan Ye persuaded Qi Lin to focus on crossing the Qi River, and the Snake-People endured repeated rebel feints before Little Fairy Doctor’s attack let their troops cross and capture Qi City.
• Nalan Ye confronted Little Fairy Doctor about her Calamity Poison Body and promised to stay beside her, but their moment was interrupted by a huge flood rushing down the Qi River.
• Qi Lin ordered the defenders to retreat from the pontoon bridge as Ling Ying burned it, but nearly sixty thousand Chu Yun Rebels arrived by ship and began landing along the riverbank against the outnumbered Snake-People.

Nalan Ye ended the war by reshaping the region’s political order and establishing the Supervisory Left Division. As he recruited Gu He and negotiated with the Hall of Souls and Yun Shan, the Yun Lan Sect’s disciples arrived to serve under his authority.

• The allied armies defeated the Morning Dawn Empire, and Xiao Yan left the battlefield after kissing Nalan Yanran and saying he would visit his brothers before going to Canaan Academy.
• Nalan Ye presided over the peace settlement, securing the Chuyun Protectorate and Gamma’s Eastern Border for the Nalan Family while granting territory to the Snake-People Tribe.
• At the Gamma court assembly, Nalan Ye became Left Supervisor, gave out Heaven Reaching Tokens, and persuaded Little Fairy Doctor to serve as an Offering.
• Nalan Ye launched an investigation into Gu He, and Ling Ying defeated and arrested him after Zoe accused him of hoarding goods and raising pill prices.
