Sandora and I left the Officer Lounge and went straight to the Research Center, where we found Tawell preparing the next phase of the resurrection project. Her main body was personally overseeing the project, and the intelligence we had obtained from Anses was obviously highly urgent, so Sandora and I hoped Tawell's main body could help analyze it. They said Tawell's main body performed better than a Mass Projection, so when something especially serious came up, she was the right person to find.
The mad scientist Tawell temporarily set aside her work and came with us to her office. After carefully listening to Sandora relay the intelligence, this Glasses Girl with maxed-out intelligence sank into a long silence, her brows tightly furrowed.
The little doll twisted restlessly on my shoulder. She did not like such an overly serious atmosphere, but she knew she should not interrupt casually, so she could only squirm to show that she wanted to go home. I set the little girl on the floor. "Go home by yourself first. We'll be back later."
The doll girl obediently nodded, opened a Teleportation Gate, and left the room. Sandora smiled faintly at me. "This child is getting more and more well-behaved. I still remember when she first came to our home—she was like a little berserker."
Tawell thought for a while, apparently without any leads. She looked at Sandora. "Your Majesty, what do you think that thing was?"
"Whatever it was, it definitely was not an Abyss Gate." Sandora's smile faded, and her expression became exceptionally solemn. "Whether in scale, form, or its initial method of destruction, it did not fit the characteristics of an Abyss Gate. When the ancestors described it, it sounded more like something similar to a Space Rift: a measurable physical rift, one that
