But she had clearly not anticipated their enthusiasm. As people who dealt with death year-round, mercenaries understood the value of life better than anyone. Thus, the members of the Flame Blade Mercenary Group showed immense gratitude toward Pandora, who had saved them. Moreover, Pandora's overwhelming strength had thoroughly won over these men, whose abilities were average but who, like all mercenaries, admired strength. They practically worshipped Pandora as a hero now, enthusiastically inviting her to visit their camp—though it was so shabby it was scarcely better than a slum.
What Pandora disliked most was wasting time on meaningless social activities. As she dealt with these enthusiastic admirers, her patience was gradually worn away, to the point where she was almost ready to start hitting people.
With Pandora's original personality, no matter how enthusiastic these people were, she would have ignored them. Turning around and leaving without a care would have been her first thought. But some training plan someone had specifically designed for her contained this line: always be polite to others. Pandora had always treated that person's words as sacred decrees, so this time, the little loli had unprecedentedly chosen to accept the invitation of these boring Carbon-Based Lifeforms.
